To He who gives love and life.........

How much He suffered for my sin,
if I had two lifetimes I could scarce begin,
to thank You for what You gave,
when You rose from that grave.

No man has ever had or will ever feel,
what You must have felt at Your last meal,
or lived through torment and the shame,
when the Pharisees cast You to blame.

The temptation in the garden, those who turned their back,
it makes me come to realize how much we humans lack.
Finally, Your crown of thorns, Your walk to Cavalry,
yet even then nailed to the cross You died forgiving me.
