A very dark write about a woman who learns to hate and then what love is.

Something very dark and cruel,
grew within the maiden's heart.
It made her angry, cold, and mean.
All her goodness did depart.
No rest for the lonely vagabond,
not one friend was ever found.
Wasted, famished, and forlorn,
she fell down to the ground.
A light it floated just above her,
with beauty exquisite and rare,
and she marveled as it traversed,
across her face and through her hair.
Soon a feeling of new beginnings,
eased each ache that life had wrought,
and healed each wound of hatred
from all the battles she had fought.
An inner glow poured from her body,
that peace which only God's love can give,
and she cried, "My Lord I'm so sorry!"
but He answered, "There's nothing to forgive."
