I remember back in the day when I was a battery.
Working without health insurance just above minimum wage.
In hopes to become hired fulltime.
But I was just a battery used all my energy then thrown away.
The man lines his pockets with silver and gold while mine is

People working for a temp. service they all know they're a

They had hopes to become more than a battery thrown away.
Batteries are the new norm. in society, battery, batteries.

Drained and recharged and drained until your use is done then

To be used and thrown away like a battery...
