As they sink deep into a downward spiral in the mind's eye.
Thinking there's no bright future in sight but only more darkness at the end of the tunnel.
But they don't realize there is light if they're only looking for it, the light of lights.
The pain they feel doesn't want to subside as they claw their face and arms until blood shows then the pain subsides.
Some call depression the separation of heart and mind and spirit.
Punch another hole in their wall the pain on the bloody knuckle helps the pain inside for another day.
The mental pain of depression is worse than any other they feel.
They ask, " Why am I alive, this world has nothing to offer."
Lost one relative to this deadly illness that I so miss to this day. Each person aware of their illness feels it too.
If they only seek help from God and doctors they'll see the light at the end of the tunnel is the light of lights Jesus.
