Dear Father,

The Bible says we're all God's children.
Freud says Daddy's a model for God.
Well Daddy ran away today,
I'm the unwanted child of God.

They say you've got a big, new place
with golden, pearly gates,
I bet it's nice for you up there
without the kids you hate.

You ran away
with kids to raise,
you won't pay mom
but still want praise,

you turn up every Sunday morning,
expecting us to play,
but I'd rather spend your money
than spend time with you today.

Go back to your other son,
the one you left to die,
we learnt from his mistakes and
we won't give into your lies.

But before you go, there is one thing
I feel I must confess,
we're taking over all you've built,
we're cleaning up your mess.

So don't come crawling back to us
when Eden's overgrown,
no one loves you anymore,
I hope you die alone.
