God's will, perfect, divine.
Striving, day by day, for righteousness,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Seeking, day by day, a peace,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Keeping, day by day, the hope,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Growing, day by day, in faith,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Needing, day by day, more love,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Giving, day by day, some mercy,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Leaning, day by day, on understanding,
Not of ourselves but of Christ's.
Man's will, flawed, human.
God's will, perfect, divine.
