Fearfully and Wonderfully

Take your eyes off

That which you can see

For the things of this world

Are only temporal

Subject to change

Subject to the power

Of His grace

For what we perceive

Is not what we are to believe

For if it does not line up

To what He says

Then how can it be true

Comparisons only lead

To negative opinions

He created each of uniquely

He said we were

Fearfully and wonderfully made

Then when He finished

Sculpting our form

He breathed His Spirit

Into our soul

Dormant it stayed

Waiting for Him

To activate the gift within

For that is what

His Spirit is

A gift

That must be

Freely received

And once it is opened

We must give Him

Free reign

For He desires

To see His purpose fulfilled

So who are we to

Hold him back

By letting doubt

To enter in

So realise this

You can not be

Anyone else

And to no one else

Should you be compared

For you are

Fearfully and Wonderfully made

And He doesn't make mistakes.
