"Spirit is willing, yet flesh is weak"

Things that come to mind

Are sometimes blind

For the things that are seen

Are hard to reach

Not even a star can be touch

Listen to the sermon as the pastor preach

For his lecture is much

My heart beats a mile a minute

And you wonder why I'm wrapped in it

Tears form in my soul

My face dark and cold

Eyes race as on a course

My body broken down by a force

Pain come and pain goes

Like a sniffling runny nose

I walk the aisle to the front

Raise my hands, cause I give up

Tired of running in the wrong direction

And looking to others for affection

We all deserve someone to truly love

Someone who is sent from above

I long for true compassion

Undivided attention is all I'm asking

The key is communication

No need for complication

I treat those vows I say with pride

To treat you as my queen from deep inside

Now I walk by faith and not by sight

Optimistic with my heart to GOD

This time is the time to do right.
