Easter morning came
2000 years ago
The women made their hike
Expecting to find Jesus in the tomb
Before sunrise
And cover his body with burial spices
But there was a great earthquake
And the stone rolled away
An angel stood there and pondered
Mary and her friend:
Why do you search here among the dead?
He who you are looking for is not here!
Christ is risen!
At that moment
The Son broke the horizon
And the women began to weep with joy
Hope swelled and creation sang
There's something so majestic
About Sonrises on Easter
The reason being?
My King resurrected
Early on Sunday morning
Because he loved me
And I was worth everything!
Find the hope in the Son
Bask in his warm embrace
Feel his love, his amazing grace
Easter is sacred
Life is too
Hold to your loved ones, brothers and sisters
Before they're gone
But if they are?
Not to fear!
Celebrating Easter in Heaven
Most be the royal treat in eternity
I mean, partying for a whole day?
About how Jesus, the Son of God
Rose from the dead!
Go spread the news, loved ones!
Jesus went to the grave,
But most importantly
He won!!!!
