A poem I wrote on Resurrection Sunday after going to a wonderful Sonrise Service! GBU!

"Oh, Precious Yeshua!
How could you be my King?
Now look at you!
So lifeless and weak!
Back to the start we go
A divine love I'll never know."
Are you kidding me!!???!
Jesus died and rose for you!
Of course we don't have a clue
Of the Love heaven poured down that day
When they heard him say,
Father! Father! Why have you forsaken me?"
Do you understand?
How much God must've weeped?
That was His Son, His baby
And He died for you and me
He offered his life to give us
This precious gift
Don't just seek and sift!
Your Treasure is right here!
What are you going to do with it?
Early that Sunday morning,
The women went to the tomb
To cover his body with spices
The Earth rumbled, the skies shook
And that stone was flipped away
Like a page of a Book!
Mary and her friend
So joyful yet frightened
Watched in shock
As an angel of the Lord
Said to the girls, looking at the rock
"Why do you seek among the dead?
I know who you're seeking, but he
Has resurrected!
Go run and scream! Sing and shout!
Jump and cry out!
Christ is risen!
Isnt that phrase just magnificent?
Join in worship, undignified before the Lord
And this overwhelming joy inside?
Don't hoard!
Share it and give it away!
Spread the Jesus' love today!
Be like David, who danced before
God in his tidy widies
Not that Abba minded
However, please be considerate and mindly
Either way, don't contain the stuff inside
Please don't hide!
Jesus is looking for you
Wandering from his empty tomb
Because he loves like you never knew :)
Happy Easter, beloved.
