My lord my life
Forgive me
I took a moment
To wear clothes of dirt
To breathe air of dust
In that moment
My golden robes lay untouched
My lord was far from me
I was far from him
My lord forgive me
Forgive my transgression
And all what is wrong
I let the devil take me there
I let the devil play with me
I let the devil own me
My lord forgive me
Forgive my transgression
And all what is wrong
In this world I am
Only by your favour
Your blessings have brought me back
My faith has helped me through
The journey of sin, of good, of bad
My lord forgive me
Forgive my transgression
And all what is wrong
I am truly grateful
To have embraced Islam
Once again to see the light
And have adorned my golden robes once more
And breathed the air of righteousness
My lord, you are most kind most wise
All knowing, all forgiving
My lord is most great and most high
And god is great
