You're just laying asleep in your grave

until your waking day

when you get up and move on

to your new home

for Eternity.

Only God knows why you went away

on your dying day

when you got up and moved on

leaving us here alone

for Eternity.

I hope that your waiting at the gate

on our waking day

so hand in hand we'll move on

for Eternity.

We left for Eternity

do you ever think of me

and do I ever think of you

not while we are asleep

they say

But are we dreaming

of Eternity.

I'm just standing here in your wake

until my dying day

when I get up and move on

to my new home

for Eternity.

Do we know why we went away

on our dying day

when we got up and moved on

leaving someone there alone

for Eternity.

I hope that we're waiting at the gate

on their waking day

so hand in hand we'll move on

for Eternity.

We left for Eternity

do you ever think of me

and do I ever think of you

not while we are asleep

they say

But are we dreaming

of Eternity.
