I was feeling down in the dumps and was waiting for my son's while they were in the Gamestop store, in the car. I just started to write what was in my heart.

I Will Meditate

Sinking in my depressive state

I stop a while to meditate

And close my mind to endless clutter

To change this ship with it's rudder

Walk away from computer and bank accounts

Email can wait another day

Today I have nothing to say

Except to hold His words

against my breast

and read a while even take a rest

We all need a sabbath

A sabbath of rest

For our priorities to stand the test

Our minds need wisdom

Our hearts need grace

Our past mistakes we can't erase

But learn from them

And then go on

His mercies are new with the morning's sun

Compassions fail not

His kindness great

So in this depressive state

On His goodness I will meditate.
