A light of change
"I'm honest and you can trust me"
It is heard
and again
With a soft and gentle voice,
He casts an intricate web of deceit,
But his eyes doth unmask his nature,
Never will he look in your eye,
When he unleashes a burning lie,
His eyes are cold and desolate,
You see the physical but nothing within,
His suffering soul leaks into spitting venom,
Yet he can be kind,
A withering candle burns a light,
The warmth in his heart holds it tight,
With tolerance, patience and a firmness of control,
You may slowly dilute his poison,
And clear his muddy perceptions.
But like the horse taken to water,
Only he can choose to revive his soul.
