Anger and Apology
First come your words,
It trips his automatic fuse,
Fire surges up his body,
And venom flows into action,
Action turns to regret and remorse,
God give him the courage to forgive and apologise.
God give him a little time for wisdom,
Time to see the smoke before it rises,
Time to prevent the destructive spread of flames,
Time to turn anger into holy and mindful words,
Let us all be healed of our sins
