Lonely, Sad or Discontented
My soul cries,
It sulks and consumes,
I see a baron desert,
I crave my every desire,
I want it all.
My pen hits paper,
I throw my heart into words,
Anger distils into object,
Stress sets in ink.
Everything is simple,
Ego distorts the truth,
I see past the smokescreen
I must move forward.
I delve through my dense undergrowth,
Through the thickets and thorns,
"Lonely" becomes a label,
Light floods every corner,
My mind is as light as a kite,
Clear and pure like a waterfall.
I unite with God,
My spirit moves upwards,
I feel the company,
I feel my friend,
My peaceful eyes open,
Thank you my Lord God
