Dark conficts of the mind,

Are like bifocals for negativities,

Good intentions shadowed,

By frown-apon activities,

Submittion to fleshly desires,

I hate to be lied to,

Then I act like a liar,

Lust consumes me,

I try to flee,

But it is there,

Strolling down the street,

Calling from the television,

Sprinkled apon every movie,

Anger forces a way out,

Pouring through my mouth,

Dripping from my eyes,

Fist begging to bruse flesh,

All this making me hate my very self.

Dreaming of a perfect world,

A world where I would not fit.

Is this the way life is supposed to be lived?

I blame it on my self.

I have no faith in me,

I would say I try so hard,

But then that would be lieing to my self.
