O' heavenly father,

I take a pause on my day,

knowing how you bless each step,

and ask, Lord, that you will be

with me, each day of my life.

As a wrangler, and a hand,

I ask not for any special favors,

or for any particular blessing,

not to beg for the crops to grow

or the ponies to be strong and good.

I do not ask for a blessing on myself.

I do ask, though, that when

the day comes, when I am

no longer to walk this green earth,

that I may ride with all of the

good folk I've know again, on your pasture.
