A poem about murder of innocents.

Rows upon rows of cradles
each one painfully silent.
Countless un-named infants
tossed away and forgotten.

I am haunted by cries
that will never be heard.
My heart aches for babies
who will never be held.

I can't understand why
we protect those who kill
all the while killing
our own unborn children.

Have we no shame?
We sell our souls
to the devil and
what do we gain?

They are our future,
this is our legacy!
A trail of unborn angels.
A future that is dead.
