These shackles bind my freedom
As I grasp at the fading peace
Should I fail, the night will come
My hope dims as I am blinded
Until darkness rules over all
I shall never again be reminded
I always have known my destiny
Buried below this fallen snow
And left alone for all of eternity
My truth is beyond all love and joy
As to prevent the age of the lost
I must only bear a son, a baby boy
But never will I in this way ascend
Fore I shall love never again
All light in our dying world will end
