Each one of us is destined to live in a “place” where you will live with a family, you will go to a school, choose a college course, have a job, have friends, or maybe have a boyfriend.
You will never have the chance to choose a family you will grow up with so you have to live with them whether you like it or not, whether it’s a happy family filled with love, trust or the other way around. You just got to live with it because even if you turn the world around, they will always be your family.
At school, you will learn how to write & read, study stuffs that are not necessary, and follow commands from people you’re not even related with, that you call teachers. Kind teachers, nagging teachers, teachers that look like monsters but whatever they are, you still should obey them or else you won’t get out of that enclosed building you call school. It’s up to you how you would like to end it, being the intelligent or not so intelligent one.
As you reach college, you will have to decide for the course or degree you would love to take, or perhaps parents would be the one. Anyways, the succeeding lines would just be almost similar as the previous paragraph, so I don’t need to rephrase it. There’s only one thing that college life differs from your secondary education, it’s the start of a path you are destined to and soon will land you to a job related to that course. A course you’ve succumbed into, staying late up at night just to finish your projects, and studying for exams to impress your professors & people around you, just finding out in the end that when you finally got a job, that field was not really what you loved to do. It sucks, isn’t it?
Friends, from the moment you gained consciousness you were already starting making friends. You will meet and make different friends: Friends at school, friends for being neighbors, friends from your relatives, friends from the bus, friends forever, friends for never, fake friends, friends for lending money, friends from hell and friends from heaven; but there are friends that will remain, they may be few but at least they’re true.
Last topic: it depends if you want to have one..a boyfriend. At first you gonna wonder why girls need a boyfriend if they will only fight, why girls need a boyfriend if they can send themselves to home without being in danger, this and that. Lots of questions but as soon as your heart opens, you will feel that there’s a space there allotted for someone, a vacancy needed to be filled by one qualifying applicant, a suitor which will lead to a position called boyfriend. If things work out between the two of you, you two can decide whether you’ll be together for the rest of your lives, seeing each other grow old until all those wrinkles and white hair appear. The ending? Simple, it’s either sad or happy, you choose; but for a True Love, it doesn’t have an ending because true love will always stay within you just like HIV. Whether you have or you don’t have that person in your life, true love doesn’t end.
All of these six stuffs I have mentioned, you create them, you might be destined to them but you’re the one who manipulates your destiny on how you want them to be. Right or wrong, good or bad, what you started you should end it-and it’s up to you how you will accomplish it. Life lived and lessons learned but soon everything will be gone and everything will be left behind because “Everything is temporary here because this is not heaven, this is just a place called EARTH.”
