First Day of school, and I'm sitting in detention. This is just where I need to be right now. My mom is going to take her shotgun and blow my head off, when I get home. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Something like this right, 'You're mom would never do such a thing' or 'Mothers are so kind'. Well apparently you don't know my mom. Imagine Rambo and the Terminator combined as one woman. It's not pretty.
My thoughts are disrupted, when a crumpled piece of paper hits me in the head. My Rambinator mother is the least of my concerns right now. Tristan Evans, otherwise known as the school's bad boy, is annoying the crap out of me. He's the one who got me in this horrible situation anyway. You'd think he'd be a little more considerate. I look over and give him my best death glare. I unravel the crimped paper, and read what it said.
'Let's get outta here'
This was golden, just golden. This was unicorns and rainbows. Was he freaking serious? First, he goes and starts a fight with gee I don't know, Josh he's just the quarterback of the football team. Then, drags me into all of his problems by pinning Josh's new and improved black eye on me! How does a 5'2 girl get in a fist fight a 6'5 boy? Of course the principal being the crazy schizophrenic that she is, didn't believe me when I said I wasn't involved with his crazy plot. Not to mention that she too, is in love with Tristan, along with all his other die hard fans and attention whores.
So now I am stuck in detention with Tristan Jerk face Evans.
I replied on the crumpled paper, scribbling furiously. I threw the paper right at his head of messy black hair. I take some time to gaze at his built body, and how his tanned skin made him so...What was the word?
Stop, what the heck just happened? His perfect face looks up at me, and then he smirks. His emerald eyes catches my cerulean ones practically eye raping him , causing me to blush slightly. I am disrupted once again, but this time he puts the paper on my desk.
'Let's get outta here'
'No! You're a jerk and I hate you'
'You know what they say about hate, it soon turns to love. Oh and I saw you checking me out, don't pretend you weren't. You look even cuter when you blush ;)'
Did he just wink? Before I can write anything back, he's gone. The teacher in the room is sleeping, so I guess anyone can easily escape. With that being said his comment leaves my face beyond the color of Clifford. Yes, I just referred to Clifford, as in the big red dog. I sit at my desk for a next two hours doodling in my notebook, until school is finally out. The bell rings much to loudly for my ears, as I exit the brick building of hell. I swing my book bag over one shoulder, and proceed to walk home when I hear what sounded like a hamster strung on crack.
No. I don't know what that sound likes. But that's what I imagine it does.
"Savvy!!!!" It shouted. I jerk my head around, to realize the thing was just my annoying friend, being her usual irritating self. Well, at least she wasn't like most preppy girls talking crap about each other. That's what I loved about her, she wasn't afraid to be herself. "Jeez Savannah," Vivian breathes between each word," You walk to damn fast!" She puts her hand on my shoulder, and dramatically pants. Her long blonde hair cascades down over her shoulders. She looks up at me with her icy blue eyes, and mouths 'what'. I smile her and say, "Just thinking how lucky I am that you're my friend, and not my enemy." When Vivian got mad, no words were capable of describing it. She'd physically start to fight you. I'm not talking about scratching and pulling hair. I mean a real fight, punches, kicks, and all the good stuff in between. I try again to begin my walk home.
"So," she speaks casually," Do you have something that you wanna tell me?" Her arm rests on my shoulder, and she stares at me trying to make me uncomfortable, but it doesn't work. "Nope," I break the silence, "Why would I?" I push her arm off my shoulder, and open the front door to my house.
" I don't know let's think?" She says with sarcastically. Her hands are on her hips, and here eyes are narrow slits.
I walk into my house, it was nothing big, just average you can say. Vivian follows after me.
"Savannah Rose Cross," Viv says sternly, "You didn't answer me."
Did Vivian just say my full name?
Oh crap.
She is mad.
You can practically see flames, that are protruding off of her ivory skin. She stares at me waiting for me to reply, but I take this opportunity to run.
I drop my book bag on the floor, and hastily run to my room. She's a few steps behind but she catches up, and grabs my legs.
"Why can't you just tell me what happened?" she pleads.
"Because." I say frustrated.
"Because, what?" she says a little more tempered.
"It's embarrassing." I timidly say, looking away. Blush dusts my cheeks, and I become uncomfortable remembering the notes we passed.
"Oh my God, you're blushing Sav," she says slowly,"You have to tell me now, I'm going to make some popcorn I'll be right back.
