Have you ever felt like you don't belong like you don't fit in,
always pretending to be something your not Just to keep your
friends. I know the feeling I used to be like that untill that one
person walked into my life and made me open my eyes to the real me
that I have been hiding away from the rest of the world. I'm
scarlett and this is my and this is my story. It was the first day
back at boarding school after the christmas holidays, I wasn't
looking forward to it as they were changing the sleeping
arrangements which means my bestfriend whom I have known since I've
been here won't be my room mate any longer. Me and kira prefer to
call this school and prison due to its appearance it has a 12ft
black fence around the premises and thick black bars on the window.
I walked slowly as I could to the main desk which was just as you
walked in the door. mrs grey the old receptionist behind the desk
looked even older since the last time I saw her and more fragile
then ever. She is not like most people of her age who look down
their noses at people. Mrs grey was a very opened minded person who
thought nothing bad of anyone. "Hello scarlett" the old lady said "
how was your christmas with you family oh and have you changed you
don't look quite as I remeber dear" that comment made me think back
to what I was like before christmas before this happened " I take
it you want your new room key sweet heart " she asked she reached
down in to the draw beside her and pulled out a key with my name
tag on and carefully handed it to me. " Hello mrs grey " I said
kindly " it was okay and thankyou for the key" I said politely . I
turned around and then dodged between the crowd of people who where
waiting for their room key. This is different from other boarding
schools as it is mix of genders. I struggled up the stairs with my
suitcase and along the left wing corridor towards the girls dorm as
the right wing led to the boys dorms. I finally reached my door
with the number 666 on it I pulled my key from my pocket and
unlocked the door and went in the big room to unpack. It was a
pretty big room with a bed on either side with 2 sets of draws next
to the bed under the window and a wardrobe at the end of each bed.
The walls were a boring shade of grey and we aint aloud to repaint
then which Is kind of unfair. I had just finished packing when the
door to the room door opened and a dark figure was standing there .
Who was it ? Is it my new room mate??
