The TRUTH

Your icy blue eyes stare into mine,

They used to be filled with love and laughter,

But now they are filled with hurt and anger,

Tell me what do you see in mine,

Are they clouded or do you see the truth?

I CAN'T

I walk through the halls,

I feel like every time I look over my shoulder I see you,

I see you with another girl,

You image fills my head,

I shake my head frustrated,

Trying to forget you, trying to move on,

But for some odd reason… I can't

WHY?

Is it true?

You have moved onto another girl?

I see you all the time in my head,

You pop up out of nowhere,

You know we were meant for each other,

You said so yourself, so tell me,

Why did you leave?

WHERE DID YOU GO?

Your voice raises over mine,

I raise mine over yours,

We argue back and forth screaming,

I wonder what happened to the man who was loving,

Who was caring,

What happened to him? Now he is gone and replaced,

Replaced by this hurtful man,

So come back to me my love,

Show me the man you used to be.
