THINKING ABOUT YOU
A Face can speak a thousand emotions, but it can easily mask what the heart truly feels.
Don’t be fooled by the happiest face, it maybe masking the most hurting heart.
For now I sit with my thoughts, but I still don’t know what to say, all I know is that you are far away. Like that wonderful dream, I always seem to see, you and me next to a beautiful stream. With the sound of the water, in my ear it’s you that I would love to have ever so near, one day who knows, for that is just a dream in my mind, I hope you don’t mind, but I just can’t seem to get you out of my mind.
For now I’m alone with my dreams, and my heart is in a lonely place, but all I can see is your beautiful face.
It’s just one of them days, I’m thinking about you, I still don’t know what to do, you say you still care, but how can you when you are not there. I write you songs, but somehow I think it’s wrong, now to sing you these songs, for now all the love has gone.
Like sand on a beach, I get pushed around, forever going round and a round, I need someone to pick me up, not put me down, and please tell me are you ever going to come around.
For my days are empty now, since you went away, my heart has been taken away, and there is nothing in it’s place, all I can do is cry for I’m alone, in this cold and lonely place. How I would love to see your smiling face.
It breaks my heart, to think of all the things that I have done, (or not done.)
I cry for days, and think of ways, how to mend my heart and mind.
I look at the passed, and see that all I ever do is hurt.
It’s time to take some new meaning in my life, why because I love my wife.
I’m sorry that I made you cry, but please don’t ever say goodbye.
I know my mind is a mess, and that is why I have done this, I can’t carry on like this.
You pick me up; you put me down, push me in and turn me out.
Come on switch me on, you know I have a mind of my own.
This has not been easy, this has been hard, I’m so scarred I don’t know what to do.
I miss you; I love you it’s a shame that I’m not next to you.
I beg you don’t go and leave me alone; all I want to do is come home.
I cry myself to sleep, I do try not too, as I know the hurt will still be there tomorrow, but I do is just carry on and weep. All I want to do is count sheep, and go to sleep.
