My best friend's girlfriend is the most beautiful girl I have ever met… When I met her last year, it was love. I still look into her eyes and my heart seems to stop.

Throughout all of high school, I had any girl I wanted. It was the same for Cameron. Every attractive girl I saw I wanted. In the end she would have been mine. The only thing that's different now, Maeve is the only one I want.

Although Cameron's my best friend and I always feel guilty, I can't help but love her.

"Andy…?" The soft voice called out. I forced my eyes open, staring into the warm caramel eyes of Maeve. "I have to go," She told me and I propped myself up onto my elbow.

It was the problem with her being with Cameron and her spending the night at my house is that she always has to leave.

I quickly looked at her and realized she was ready to go. I couldn't help but sigh before nodding. "Alright…" I whispered placing my hand to her cheek. I leaned forwards planting a soft kiss on her lips. "I love you," It was rare that I told her but today was a special exception.

Maeve grinned and kissed me again quickly. "I love you too," Maeve stood up from the bed and fixed her dress. I rolled over onto my back, folding my hands behind my head.

I watched as Maeve walked to the bedroom door. "Hey…" I called after her. As soon as Maeve turned, I sat up. "Happy birthday… I'll see you later," I told her. Maeve waved to me before leaving. As soon as I heard the front door of the loft shut, I flopped back down.

If Cameron were to ever find out, I'd lose my best friend and the girl I love. I don't want that. I've tried to stop running around with Maeve behind his back, but it's difficult. "…Fuck," I muttered to myself with a groan. It needs to end one day.

Sometime…

Maybe…

Or not for a little while anyways.
