Chapter 12

I woke up the next morning and decided to let go what happened last night with that guy. If something was wrong, it really was none of my business unless Landon wanted me to know. I mean, we did just get together. It's not like we are married or something.

I walked out into the kitchen and grabbed some coffee. I wasn't even paying attention to anything around me and then I heard a light chuckle.

"I love you kitty pajama's." I turned to find Landon leaning against the table with his arms folded across his chest.

"Are you teasing me, Mr. Parker?" I inquired with a playful grin. I held my coffee in my hands.

"Now would I do a thing like that? Miss. Morgan." He replied.

"Very much so." I laughed when he gave me a 'How could you think such a thing' look.

"I'm hurt!" He held his hand over his heart.

"Awww, poor baby!" I teased.

"Alright! That's it! You're gonna get it!" He ran towards me, but I slipped past him.

I ran into my room and he soon followed, he tackled me onto the bed and was laying on top of me. Thank fully I had a queen size bed for what I had planned next. I wrapped my legs around his and my arms around his neck I starred up at him giving him an opening to kiss me. He bent down, I took that chance to use my weight to roll him over and roll myself on top of him.

I lowered myself to whisper to him. "I love riding." I lifted my head to look in his eyes and I swear I saw him gulp.

We heard a knock on the door and yet again we were interrupted. Thankfully the door had been closed in our dash into the bedroom or else who ever is on the other side of that door would have gotten an eye full!

We both stood from the bed, but we handled it very well...or so I thought till I opened the door and my dad was on the other side. His face held a shocked expression and he looked from Landon to me and then back to Landon again.

"Kirsty..." Was all my father said.

"Daddy, is there...umm...something you needed?" I was getting very nervous. He had never caught me in my room with a boy before. So it was awkward for the both of us. But Landon didn't squirm or fidget.

"Oh...yes, I need you and Landon out there this morning. But first Rose wants to take your stitches out Landon. You can come on out after she does that." He said remembering why he was there. "Oh and Kirsty, please leave your door open when you have a guest. Thank you." And with that he walked away.

Landon and I looked at each other and burst out laughing. We finally calmed down and he gave me a hug and a light kiss then went to find my mother. I closed my door behind him and then went to shower and get dressed.

We worked together all morning with my dad. We were fixing fence post. By noon we were back at the house to grab some lunch. It was so hot out. We checked the weather and it was hitting a record high. My father gave us the rest of the day off.

We talked to Tate and Marshall and decided to steal away Megs and Christine and drive to the lake about an hour away. It was a big lake and has tons of water slides and fun stuff to do.

We were all packed into Christine's mom's van and heading down the highway. The boys of course brought along snacks because they can not stop eating for 5 minutes. We put on the radio and the three of us girls sang along with almost every song. The boys would tease us by singing along (might I add very poorly ) when ever a lovey dovey romantic song came on. What can you expect? Men never grow up!

We finally arrived and the boys shot out of the car and took off. "How nice of them to stay and help us with our bags, towels and chairs...." Megs said sarcastically.

"Well, that's fine...we can just leave their stuff here for them to get themselves!" Christine added.

"Are you kidding?!" I asked. "They wouldn't go get theirs, they would just use ours!" They just laughed and nodded, knowing I was completely right. So we grabbed the boys stuff and carried it ourselves.

I spotted all three boys at the top of the tallest slide, they took turns going down one right after the other. Once they were all down, they found us and came over. Megs was sitting in the chair and Marshall just sat down in her lap.

"UGH! Get off you fatty!" She yelled.

"I'm not FAT!" He exclaimed and we all laughed. "You call this fat?" And he flexed his muscles, then picked Meg up and carried her off towards the water.

"MARSHALL WALLACE ANDERSON! DON'T YOU DARE THROW ME IN!" She used his full name and we held our laughs in...we all knew he hated his middle name.

"THAT'S IT! You use the name! You get DUNKED!" He laughed evilly, then dunked Megs into the water. Clothes and all. She had not taken off her shorts and tank top yet.

Marshall helped her up out of the water and they came back up to us. She pulled off her tank top and shorts. Marshall looked about ready to have a heart attack. He had seen her in a swim suit before. But this was a string bikini and she looked smoking hot in it.

Next Christine stood and took off her tank top and shorts down to her bikini. Tate had his eyes locked to her body. He watched her every move and smiled. I didn't really care to watch anymore as Tate is my brother....

Then it was my turn. Landon had sat down in the chair next to mine and I stood up and took of my clothes to reveal my blue string bikini that my dad would have killed me if he knew I had it!

To turn around and see the face on Landon was more then entertaining. We three girls smiled at each other then took of to the water. The boys following closely behind.

We played in the water all day. Landon and I went down one of the slides on a tube. We had a picnic when it became dinner time and the boys saw a few guys tossing around a football. They turned to each of us and gave a puppy dog face and whimpered.

"Go on!" We said in union.

They took off and started playing football. We had fun watching all the hot guys just in swim trunks.

"So when's the wedding?" Megs asked. I finally realized she was talking to me.

"You're kidding, right?" I laughed. "We just got together and we only met each other a week and a half ago. We have a long way to go before we can even think about wedding stuff."

"I wish Tate would just propose already. We've been together for a long time now and I'm worried he's never going to be ready to get married." Christine looked down and I knew she had been worried about this for a couple months now.

"Tate loves you Chris, you know that." I told her.

"I know he does, but I'm also ready to start my life and I want to start it with him. I can't see me ever living without him." She said.

"Chris, just give it a little while longer. You're not old or anything. You and Tate are only 23, you have plenty of time." Megs added. We got up and went over to Chris and had a girl hug.........
