The Stage is Set...

You know those totally cheesy romance novels that are practically every woman's guilty pleasure? And how the sex scenes are always so steamy, even though the plot of the story is a bit iffy? But you read them anyway, because the girl always gets the guy and they ride off into the sunset together? Well, my life  is definitely not like one of those at all!  No, my life is more like a romantic comedy, (minus the romantic part!) I have had plenty of boyfriends, and I'm not complpletely repulsive, but I can't seem to keep a guy. They have all cheated on me! Of course, it really doesn't help that the guy I have finally fallen for is my best friend! Who, may know that I have slight crush on him, but he has no idea that I have been in love with him since last year.  

So, here I am, sitting right next to him, my head in his lap, just relaxing, and kicking his butt at Mario Brothers! Throwing popcorn at each other and laughing when we beat each other at the video game. I have been single for three months now, so has he.  We have these little weekends whenever his flavors of the week cancel on him.  And, the one thing that I really don't like about him is that he has more flavors of the week than an ice cream shop!  I never really expected it when he grabbed me, pulled me in close and leaned in....
