"Look at her." Or "What is she wearing." Is usually heard as I walk down the hall. Or as I like to call it the walk of shame. Nobody ever gets me. I'm different or as my mom say 'special'. If only people knew. Last period had just ended so I gathered my books and put them in my bag.

"Ms. Valmont, May I speak with you?" My teacher Mr. Davie called.

"Yes sir." I mumbled.

"You aced your exam's Ms. Valmont. The school district wants your mother to sign this." He handed me a paper. "It basically says that you're talented and have a good chance at getting a good scholarship. That's a form asking if we have permission to show your test scores to colleges."

"Thank you, sir." I said.

Quickly I walked to the music room and made sure it was clear. Luckily choir practice was cancelled. Doing a double check I sat down my bag and pulled out my water bottle. Then did my vocal exercises.

"Um, so this is a song I've been working on…" I said to myself.

'Can anybody here find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief,
Lord!

Somebody, somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Got no feel I got no rhythm I just keep losing my beat.

I'm okay, I'm alright.

Ain't gonna face no defeat.

I just gotta get out of this prison cell.

One day I'm gonna be free.

Lord, somebody, somebody,

Can anybody find me?

Somebody to love?

(She works hard)

Every day I try and I try and I try.

But everybody wants to put me down.

They say I'm going crazy,

They say I got a lot of water in my brain.

Got no common sense.

I've got nobody left to believe,

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Guitar Solo: D

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

(Can anybody find me somebody to love?)

Somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

Find her somebody to love

I breathed out a sigh and smiled to myself. Then to a long gulp of water. Unfortunately tomorrow choir practice would be held. So I tried to practice as much as possible before the football team came inside….

….Football captain Colin Sylvester and his team came inside taking the back way into the locker rooms. Colin stopped when he heard a voice. It was sweet and melodic. He immediately was mesmerized by who ever owned that voice. His friend Damien came out and looked at his friend.

"Dude what's up?"He asked.

"Do you here that?"Colin asked.

HIs voice was barely audible, but Damien heard it. He watched as his friend began sprinting down the hall. He chased after Colin until they reached the music room. He tried to push the door open, but it was locked. Quickly they rushed to the other side. Colin sighed when he saw someone in there, but realized it was just the Janitor vacuuming. They had come too late.

"Would you care to explain why we ran around the whole school?"Damien growled.

"It was nothing. I just thought I heard this voice. Ya know. It sounded better than I've anybody I've ever heard."

"Dude! So you dragged me off for some chick. I should knock your balls in,but you're lucky you're my best friend."He patted his friend on the back and headed back to the locker room.
