            “I don’t want to move,” eleven year old Virginia said.

            “Virginia, we’ve been through this before. We have to move. Daddy got a job in Virginia, so we have to leave Hawaii,” Tasha, her eight year old know-it-all sister said. 

“Shut up, Tasha! Just because you told me why again, doesn’t make we want to go.” Then she ran up to her room and flung herself on top of her bed. It’s not fair! I don’t want to leave all my friends!

            “Vi, come on. We have to go to the airport now,” her mom yelled up the stairs. 

            Virginia sighed and grabbed her carry-on bag. She slumped into her seat and watched as her home faded away. After they took off in the airplane, she stared out the window, until she could no longer see Hawaii.
