Chapter Six

"What did you just say to me?" She gasped in shock.

"I said kiss my country ass." I glared at her. She lifted her hand to smack me but I was faster. I grabbed it in mid air and slammed it into the table. "Don't you dare touch me." I growled at her.

"Ow! Mr. Fletcher!" She yelled to him.

"Miss Collins! Office! Now!" He snapped at me. I bit on my cheek and fought the urge to roll my eyes.

"Yes Sir." I said calmly picking up my bag. I hit the table back making it bump into Vanessa as I walked out. I let go of the skin in my mouth before biting on my lip. Tucker has been trying to break me of this habit, but it wasn't working. I got to the office and sat myself down on one of the chairs crossing my arms. The Principal's door opened and Uncle Caleb and the Principal walked out.

"Carson what are you doing here?" Uncle Caleb asked surprised. I glared at the floor. The secretary stood up from the desk.

"Mr. Fletcher called saying that she was-" She picked up a piece of paper, "'threatening the students with violence as well as disrespecting me and the students too.'" Uncle Caleb looked at me. I shook my head clenching my hands tightly together. She looked at me as I bit harder on my lip. I didn't do anything. Uncle Caleb looked at me raising an eye brow.

"Did you do this Miss Collins?" The Principal asked. I looked up at him not answering.

"Carson." Uncle Caleb scolded. I sighed.

"No Sir." I licked away the blood that started to come out of the inside of my torn lip. "I didn't do it." I pressed my tongue to the throbbing skin. The principal looked at the clock on the wall.

"The bell is going to ring soon. I want to see you tomorrow morning during first period." I gave him a nod. "You can leave school now." I nodded weakly. Uncle Caleb looked at me.

"Is Sarah picking you up?" He asked quietly as the principal went back into his office. I shook my head.

"Tucker's coming over. He was going to drive me." I looked down at my jeans.

"Go wait by his car. I'll make sure he knows you're there." I got out of the chair and grabbed my back pack without saying anything before making my way out of the school. I found Tucker's jeep, the one we used at the beach house which his Dad gave to him after he got back from Texas, and opened the passenger side door. I sat down crossing my arms before leaning my head against the window….

….Tucker looked around the hall as Nic opened her locker. "Sis, where's Carson?" She looked at him closing her locker.

"She got sent to the office last period." She said as Ben slipped his arm around her waist.

"What?" They both said looking at her.

"Brown!" Tucker turned around to see Uncle Caleb walking towards them.

"Yes Sir?" He asked him cautiously. Uncle Caleb put his hand on Tucker's shoulder.

"Carson's by your truck. She's waiting for you to take her home. She's been waiting for about 20 minutes. I'd hurry if I was you." He said quietly to Tucker. He nodded throwing his bag over his shoulder. "Afternoon Practice tomorrow Brown." Tucker gave a nod as he walked out and over to the jeep. He knocked on the window making me look over at him, my jaw aching from having it locked. He tried to open the door but it was locked.

"You going to let me in?" I shook my head turning away at the urge to cry come on. "Baby?" He looked at me as I sat there, arms crossed turned away from him. "Alright…." He clicked the button unlocking the door. I didn't want him out; I just didn't want to move. He knew it. He lifted me enough to slide under me slopping me on his lap before closing the door again. He locked the door before turning on the car enough to turn the air on. He ran his fingers over the sweat on my collar bone. I turned around curling my head under his chin closing my eyes. "You want to talk about it?"

"I didn't do anything." I whispered clenching my jaw again. Tucker ran his fingers over my jaw bone gently. He moved so his face was by mine.

"What didn't you do?" He whispered as he pressed a kiss to clammy skin.

"I dont disrespected anyone." I muttered my old southern accent dripping into my words like smooth molasses.

"I know you don't baby." He looked at me. "What happened Carson?" I looked out the window as Vanessa came out of the school. Tucker looked over before holding me tighter. "What'd she do now?" He asked running his fingers over my jaw again. I shook my head as she caught sight of the jeep. She looked in only to glare at me. She thinks she won this battle, but she didn't the war. "Carson?" I looked up at him tarring my eyes away from her.

"She was threatenin' me and tellin' me I got to stay away from you and callin' me a red neck! I ain't a red neck!" Tucker laughed as my words sounded more southern than ever. "So I told her that she can kiss my country ass." He started to laugh even harder. "But then she tried to slap me. So I stopped her but it ain't good enough so I got sent to the office." I looked up at him. "I ain't ashamed of anything though." I frowned though. "I don't like gettin' yelled at." I felt my lip move out to pout. Tucker ran his finger over my pouting lip.

"It'll be alright Car, you didn't do anything wrong." I looked down. "What'd you say?" He asked amusement playing on his face.

"I might have called her stupid a couple times." Tucker shook his head.

"Carson." I shook my head at him.

"Can we just drop it Tucker?" I sighed snugging closer to him. He sighed heavily not wanting to but he was going to if he wanted to come over.

"Alright…You ready to go back to yours?" He asked me. I took a deep breath before nodding. I know Uncle Caleb was going to call her. Sarah wasn't one for violence or disrespect. She was going to be mad. I don't like someone I love mad at me. "It'll be alright baby." He whispered. I nodded opening the door as he held me tighter getting out of the truck. He sat me down back on the seat before going around. I closed the door clicking on my seatbelt as Tucker got in doing the same. I stayed silent the whole ride to my house. Tucker pulled into the driveway next to Sarah's explorer. He turned off the Jeep before looking at me. "Come on Car; just get it over with now." I nodded picking up my backpack getting out. He took my hand in his as we walked to the front door and walked in.

"Come sit down Carson." I heard Sarah say from the living room. I squeezed Tucker's hand tightly walking slowly to the living room. I blinked as I saw Harold sitting holding JJ. Oh no, not both Sarah and Harold. My face dropped as Sarah turned around to look at me. "Come sit Carson." She looked at Tucker. "You too Tucker." I sat down my knees together my head down.

"Would you like to explain what happened, Carson?" Harold said rocking JJ looking at me. I shook my head. Sarah looked at him.

"You have to ask yes or no questions Harry." I looked up from under my lashes.

"Did you do it?" He asked. I shook my head.

"No Sir." Tucker took my hand in his. Sarah looked at me.

"Your Uncle told me what happened. Nic told him." I looked up at her.

"Are you mad?" She smiled shaking her head.

"You did what was right. I'm going to defend you and so is Caleb. You're not alone here, alright?" I nodded.

"I'm sorry Sarah." She shook her head smiling.

"Don't be. Why don't you two go upstairs while I make dinner?" I nodded as Tucker and I got off the couch.

"Carson, I left you a couple gifts in your room. I hope you like them." I looked at Harold as he smiled standing up holding JJ. "I'm sure you'll love them. I'll call you when dinner is ready." He smiled at us before walking into the kitchen. I looked at Tucker before running up to my room to see what Harold was talking about. I opened my door.

"He didn't." I gasped looking around the room.

"He did." Tucker said. I walked over to the big screen TV now on the wall in front of my bed. It was on a stand and everything. "Is this new?" He asked looking at the Mac computer on my desk. I looked at it wide eyed. "I'll take it it's new." I nodded slowly sitting down on my bed. He walked over to the dresser and picked something up. "Hmmm I think they are trying to tell us something." I looked at him as he held the box of condoms. He wiggled his eye brow at me. I blinked at him as he opened the box.

"What are you gettin' at?" I asked him as he took a little foil package out of the box.

"I'm getting at how much I missed you and ready to show you it." He put the box down and walked over to me pulling off his shirt.

"Oh really?" I giggled as he tugged at mine kissing my jaw again running his hands under my shirt and up my stomach.

"Oh yeah." He kissed as I pulled the wrapper from his hand opening it as Tucker unzipped his jeans. I pulled the rolled up latex out of the foil before looking up at Tucker rolling it down on his making his breathing go rough. "Now it's my turn." He moaned pulling at my jeans…
