The footsteps were familiar and I felt a chill down my spine as they came closer to me. He was gone, they told me over and over again that he had gone. I felt a hand on my shoulder and shot off my bed and into the corner screaming at the top of my lungs.

"Mara, Mara it's me Lotti. Are you alright? I was coming to tell you that I was done with the kid's things and that Rick was back with Molly."

I was breathing heavily and I could feel the tears streaming down my face. How could it be? steps sounded just like his. Her gate, the pressure of her steps sounded just like Dan's. I stood up and shakily stepped out of the room past Lotti and straight out the front door into the sun where I sank to my knees. I put my head in my hands and started to cry. I felt do scared yet so relieved at the same time. It was when I felt familiar arms around me that the tears really began to fall. In a cascade of fear I gripped onto Rick tightly. I felt his hand run down my hair comfortingly but the shaking didn't go away. Something was off, something was way off and I couldn't tell what it was.

"Mara, are you alright? Lotti said you freaked out on her when she put her hand on your shoulder. What happened baby?"

I shook my head, my forehead rubbing into his shirt. "The steps, it sounded just like him. Same exact steps, I thought he came back. I was so scared. I, Rick I can't stay here. We need to go somewhere, anywhere, but I can't stay here anymore. Let's go, grab the car seats and let's go."

He hugged me tighter a moment before he let me go. "Alright, I will have Lotti get the car seats for us, we will go pack your clothes and you can hug Molly a bit before we go. Have you talked to Georgia lately?"

I shook my head. "Not really. She lays my clothes out for me and says good morning before she takes he kids, but other than that we really don't talk. I know something is wrong there as well, but she won't talk to me about it. I don't know what else to do though. So let's get things done Rick, I want to go."

He grasped my hand and led me towards the house. As we passed Lotti he spoke quietly to her and I heard her steps go towards the door as he led me towards the bedroom. I sat on the bed as he whistled and my heart lept up into my throat. I heard nails click on the lenolium floor as they came close to me and the I felt a massive furry head place itself in my lap.

"Molly, oh my Molly." I slid down onto the floor and hugged her close to me and cried into her fur, glad that she had healed. I held her like that until I heard Tori and Teagan enter the room. I let go of Molly and held on to them tightly before we all walked out the door and piled into the truck and headed down to my mother's. It was definately going to be a trip I wasn't going to forget.
