When I was little race wasn’t a issue, the colour of your skin didn’t make any more of a difference as the colour of your hair or your eyes. Everybody was free from judgement and everybody lived in harmony. If somebody didn’t let me play with them or called me a name there wouldn’t be a minute were I would suspect it is because of my skin colour it would simply be, they didn’t like me. But as I grew older that innocence faded, I became more aware of the world that I was living in and I realised it wasn’t all that I thought it was, in fact; it couldn’t be more different.
