Pressed Against (Full Version)

Chapter 1.

There is something in my head that I just can't let out. My lips tremble at the sight of it as my heart feels emptiness and longing for it as well. I have not yet told anyone that I haven't kissed a boy in my life and so when I'm asked about it, I work around it. I'm 16 and I haven't pressed my lips against anyone's lips in a loving way. I want to know what it taste like, what it feels like, what it would be like to feel that, but I have an idea in my head that tells me it will not be any time soon. I rest my head on my bed as I stare at the walls surrounding me. My plain room gives me a sign of hopelessness and boredom beyond belief. I close my eyes and the phone decides to ring. Just great, I decide to sleep and someone decides to call me, just the way it always has been with me, never right. I put my hand on top of the phone and lift it up slowly to my mouth.

" Hello?" I say.

" Ana! It's me Atren, what are you doing tonight?" He asks. Atren is one of those friends who is always there for you, but can talk a little too much.

" I don't know. Probably sleeping, why?"

" I don't know. We were going to go out and get a bite to eat. Want to come?" Quite honestly I really didn't, but Atren would just keep asking me until I felt like it.

" Sure."

" Alright then. Get over here right now." I look at my plain walls again as I hang up my phone. He probably invited some of his other friends over. He has so many friends that each time I come over it's always a new group of bad ass kids sitting in his living room. I slip on my black and purple jacket and fix my hair. I play with it for a while as I stare at my body in the mirror. I'm so ugly, it's not even funny.

As I arrive at Atren's house I wasn't sure who to expect there. I hope they aren't as annoying as the last bunch that was here last week. They had a tendency of throwing things at you and sticking things in your face as if you really needed that. I knocked on the door and it swung open as if I was a surprise to see.

" Come on in Ana," He says as he puts his arm around my lower back and pushes me in. He walks me into his living room which consisted of a new bunch of kids, expected. There was a big, muscular guy with no hair sitting in a chair, there was a girl with blonde and black hair laying across his couch, there was a skinny kid who you could say was kind of cute, but if his hair was cut wouldn't be so, and a kick in a corner with his head on his knees and his arms wrapped around them. I couldn't see his face and his long, black hair was covering his face as well as he buried his head in his knees.

" That's Jin, Ry, Anisen, and Kale," He said pointing to all the kids in order as I said them. Anisen was the only girl other than me and boy was she beautiful, but she had a loud talk. You could tell that the guys wanted her so badly, but resisted. She must love being the only pretty girl in the room.

" Come on, I'm starving," Atren says as he waves everyone to go. He grabs my arm as I look back to see what that kid, Kale looked like. I was pulled so fast and hard that I just missed his face. As we stepped out of the house and onto Atren's walkway Ry, the skinny kid was about to do something really stupid, I could see it in his eyes.

" Atren look. I can backflip right in midair." He does so and lands flap on his feet. Atren took it as a challenged and positioned himself. As I stared at them someone had said something.

" Hmmmm, idiots," The voice said very quietly. I look from the corner of my eyes to see Kale smiling. He was pretty cute. No wait, he's hot. He has really nicely styles black hair, nose ring, lip ring, and cool looking shirt with the sleeves ripped up. He's a bit rough looking, but I think he looks pretty good. Atren lifts his body off the ground and flips over, but he doesn't land so greatly. His misjudgement of the floor landed him flat on his back. We all rushed to him as we couldn't believe what we saw. A sound a hard body hitting ground isn't one you would enjoy to hear. He was screaming in pain and fear.

" Holy Shit!" Ry says.

" We have to call an ambulence," Says Anisen as she flips out her phone from her pocket. I couldn't do anything, but stare.

When the ambulence came and put Atren on the stretchbed I stared at his helpless body. He was yelling and crying for his body. As they wheeled him to their truck I stared at him, but then I look up. I look up right into Kale's eyes. He smiles and looks away. I do nothing, but stare. He captivated me for just a moment and I don't know why. As the truck leaves with Atren's parents in the back we all just stand there.

" Now what do we do?" Asks Ry.

" Listen even though Atren is broken, I'm still hungry. We can eat and go visit him," Jin suggested. Jin, of course, was hungry. As we all follow him to his car Kale looked at me.

" Hey you," He says.

" Me?" I ask.

" Yeah. You want to come with me?" He says.

" Where?" I ask. Like I'll really come with a stranger. Especially a wierd stranger.

" I don't know. I'm not really in the mood, you want to come with me somewhere?"

" I rather pass."

" Alright." He didn't ask why or anything. He just went about himself.

" Well, do you really want me to come?" I ask as he begins to walk.

" If you'd like." Was he playing a game with me. Does he know that somewhere in me I do want to come?

" Well, I guess I'll come." I walk with him, but he doesn't have a car. As the others left we told they we weren't going. When they where gone Kale put his hands in his pockets and looks up at the dark sky.

" I'm Kale," He says.

" I know. I'm Ana." I try not to look at him too much.

" There's something about you Ana. Something important that I haven't figured out yet."

" What?"

" There is something about you. I don't know what it is."

" You know how weird you sound. You're scaring me a bit."

" Am I?" He asks.

" Yes." We stop.

" Good because I'm the weirdest person you'll ever meet." He looks into my eyes. I look away. We keep walking.

" Well, you definately are."

" So, you want to come back to my house?" He asks.

" Who do you think I am?" I ask.

" I know you're Ana," He says. 

" I hope you don't think you can sleep with me."

" No, but I want to be your friend."

" Listen, I don't know who you are, but you're really scaring me. Scaring me so much I don't even know why I'm walking with you."

" It's because you like me."

" What?"

" You're walking with me because you like me."

" I just met you therefore I do not like you at all." He begins to laugh a bit and stops me. He holds my arms and turns my body to face him. He smiles and stares into my eyes.

" Want to come to my house?" He asks.

" I don't know. You better not try to take anything off of me."

" Good, let's go."
