Chapter 3.
As he opens the door I feel my body shake a little. I don't know what to expect behind the doors. When the door finally was open, my eyes got very wide. His house was so big, I can't even imagine how big it must be actually going in it instead of just standing in the door way. There was a small, dark room to the left of me with a couch pressed against a window. Pictures with flowers and such stuff hung on the walls, but it was a bit to dark to see them. The entrance of his house was dark. I could see high stairs to the right of me leading up, but seeming a bit endless. I look straight to see a table with about 6 people talking and laughing.
" Come on," He says as he holds my hand and brings me into the kitchen. As he walks in everyone looks up and smiles.
" Mom, dad, everyone, this is Ana," He says as he lets go of my hand. A woman as beautiful as her light eyes stands up and walks towards me with a huge smile.
" Oh hello. Kale you brought home a friend!" The lady says.
" Yes mom. Ana this is my mother," He says. I look at her and she looks at me with pleasure. She didn't stop smiling at all.
" Hello," I say. She opens her arms and hugs me as if she misses me. They must be friendly people because if Kale was in my house my dad would have a rope ready and my mom would have a boiling pot of water ready.
" Well, I guess I'll have to introduce you to everyone. You can call me Mrs. Atrenome. This might take some time," His mother says. As we walk closer to the table she stand behind me.
" Hello," A man with a slight beard says.
" Everyone this is Ana, Kale's new friend," His mom says. It amazes me that Kale never said anything about us being friends to his mother. I guess she just thinks that because I'm in her house.
" Hi," I say.
" That' Kale's dad, his grandfather and grandmother, his Aunt Eadee, and his Uncle Jek," She says. I smile and said hello.
" Welcome Ana," His father says leaning back in his chair.
" That's not all," She says. There was kids sitting in the living room which isn't seperate by a door or anything and so you can walk right to them.
" Yes, there is more," Kale's dad says.
" Those 2 over there is Tae and Ralph, Eadee and Jek's kids, upstairs is another one of Eadee and Jek's kids and his name is Yuku. There is also Unlce Montly and Aunt Fena and there daughter Alenta, but they are at the store," She says. There is so many people and so many wierd names. Tae, Eadee, Jek, Alenta, Fena, Yuku? I mean Ralph and Montly are the only normal sounding names.
" Come on," Kale says as he pulls my arms.
" Well it's nice meeting you," I say. Everyone waves. We walk into the small, dark room that I had seen earlier. Kale sits me on the couch, but he doesn't turn on any light.
" This is my favorite spot. To just sit here in the dark and get away from all of these people," He says. The only light was coming from the almost fully dark sky we looked up at earlier.
" They seem like really nice people. This is almost like a boarding house."
" Yes. They pay rent and stuff like that, but the borders are my family."
" Do you like is here?"
" It get's a little bit too tight in here. Your privacy is always put out there. Wait, there is no privacy. Everyone is on you at every time of the day," He says stretching his legs across the couch and resting his head on the arm of the couch.
" Well, they are very nice. Kale Atrenome," I say to him.
" That's me." He closes his eyes.
" So, your granfather is pretty hot," I say. He puts his head up and looks at me.
" Oh really?" He says.
" Yeah, I would love to makeout with him," I say laughing a bit.
" Well, here's your chance." He calls his grandfather over and I just smile. Kale looks at me as he move his legs on the ground so his grandfather could sit in the middle of us.
" What do you want Kale?" He asks.
" Ana wants to kiss you," Kale says flat out.
"I really do," I say as I lean forward to his face. His grandfather was terrified and I began to laugh.
" Get out of here Grandpa!" He says as he pushes him out. His grandfather walks away. There was a small silence.
" I want to play the game again," I say as he puts his body back to where he was first laying.
" Really?" He asks.
" Yes. What's your favorite time of day?" I ask.
" Night."
" Me too!"
" I want to ask something now," He says.
" You got to the whole walk here."
" Yeah well, I got more stuff to ask."
" No, I want to ask you first. Tell me a little bit about yourself."
" Well, I'm Kale and I'm sitting in my favorite room," He began to go on. My heart raced as I look at him. My body felt different, in a wierd way. I put my knees and feet on the couch and I basically crawl over to him. I put my hand right next to his leg and he's looking at me. His face was right in my face. I lean forward as my upper lips caught his bottom lip. I had just kissed him! What should I do now! He's not kissing me back! My lips are slowly parting, knowing I'm going to have to face the embarrassment of not being kissed back. As I slowly move my head back Kale quickly moves his face forward and kisses me. I can feel his tongue slide into my mouth as my mouth openly feels loved. He holds my face as I put my hands right next to his legs. I'm leaning over to kiss him as he is genlty rested on the couch. When we stop I look at him. I felt scared, but most importantly kissed. He looks at me and I look at him, both our eyes are wide. His mouth is open a bit as if he couldn't believe what just happened.
" I'm so stupid. We just met and I just kissed you," I say hitting my head with my hand.
" Was this your first time kissing someone?" He asks.
" Why was I that bad?"
" No, you are amazing. I couldn't really tell, but when you first did it I could see it in your eyes. You were afraid to kiss me. Like you were afraid I'd get mad or wouldn't kiss you back."
" I was afraid." I say. I look away. He crawls toward my the way I did to him and his eyes stared at my eyes. He turns my head to face him. He holds my face.
" Never be afraid with me," He pulls me forward and once again we made out. I could feel his warm hand wrap around the lower part of my stomach. He feels my skin a bit and stops to smile. I look at him and he looks at me. I don't believe in love, I never did.
