Living in Sin

Novel By: igor42

Two years after losing her mother in an accident, Nicole Taylor was starting to feel she could move on. That was until her father came back, with unexpected guests. On the other side, despite her own not-so-merry life, Rina Haven was all too eager to help Nicole get back on track. But she didn’t know who was it that really needed saving. And as it turned out, she never even knew who she really was, after all.

(This is a teen-fiction GxG story. So if you are offended by two people of the same gender {girls in this case}, then please don't read on.) View table of contents...

I didn't bother trying to stop the tears as I came running out the house, slamming the door behind me. He outdid himself this time. I thought he's hurt me to a point that I wouldn't be able to feel any pain any more but, surprise! He remarkably, tremendously and superfluously broke me. The only thing on my mind now was to get to her, talk to her, cry into her as she would tell me to be strong, to do what I think is right. I just kept running, in hope of hearing her sweet voice tell me it's all going to be all right, despite knowing full well that wasn't possible. Not anymore. And to think it's all my fault is …….

I woke up before the wake-up call rang. A lie-in, though tempting, wasn't an option as it was almost 6 and I didn't wanna be late for school on my first day. So after the shower and the dress-up, I mean, dress-down, I grabbed my bag and went down for a light breakfast. Then when I was finished and it was time, I checked out. Yeah, I was staying at a hotel. I just moved here from England two days ago. Actually, I had a home but let's just say it wasn't available yet. Jennifer had to go back to the UK to wrap up her work and meet up with her husband and left me alone so here I was in a cab off to school for the first day alone.

It was rather a long drive up the hill but the view out the window was … eye-catching. And there was no sign of life along the way, except for the occasional glimpses of squirrels or birds, of course. And the driver didn't seem like the eloquent type, unlike the one we got when we arrived here two days ago. So I was practically alone. But then again, I never found being alone boring. I always enjoyed solitude, for the past two years anyway.

The cab came to a stop and after getting the receipt, I got out, looking at the scene before me and thinking how handsomely the school added its contradicting beauty to the tranquility of the environment. And just the front parking lot proved that Sky High was nothing short of an Elite School. I mean every space was occupied with every type of famous sports cars. Not that I knew much about cars but they just smelt … expensive. I just hope this place would be different. Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the school compound, all the while saying to myself, "well, 'Fresh start' here I come."

[A/N ; Hi, guys. So this is my first story. First things first, I suck at descriptions and since English isn't my first language I probably had made/will make some grammar mistakes along the way in this story.

The first POV is an excerpt, not happening right before the second before. It'll come in the next chapter or so. Just telling you.

And THEMOST IMPORTANT THING, if you are against same sex relationships, just don't read on.

So, that's it. Enjoy!!]
