Chapter 6:

I went through the rest of the day in slow-motion. Of course, not literally, but that's what it felt like. I walked in the office and saw that one of the usual troublemakers, Justin Morgans, was sitting in there.

"Justin. Are you here to see Mr. Newman, again," I asked from behind the counter.

Justin was an obnoxious guy but he gorgeous. He had long, shaggy, dark-brown hair with a red streak in it. His eyes were an incredible, icy blue and were always staring me up and down. He always bragged about having 20 tattoos and he had his eyebrow, nose, both ears, and tongue pierced.

"I've been in here for nearly an hour, Grace. Do you think you could find someway to occupy me?" He winked at me and eyed my chest again.

I didn't answer right away but when I did, I stated, "Um...no. But I can see if Mr. Newman is busy." Justin had the ball of his tongue ring out of his mouth and was running it along his lips. For some reason, I thought that was sexy and had to look away.

Justin laughed and said, "Face it, babe. You think I'm hot and I'm damn sure you're hot. Come here and sit on my lap."

"No...I'm not a trouble-maker like you. Besides, what are you doing in here again?"

He stood up and leaned up against the counter. "Ms. Martin sent me up here for smoking in the back of the classroom." I began shaking my head and said, "Honestly, Justin? Why would you do that?"

He leaned in closer and asked, "Have you ever had a cigerette? They are heavily addicting." I smelled his cologne and inhaled deeply.

I recognized it as 'Dragon's Fire', one of the most expensive and popular colognes out. "You smell good," I simply said.

Justin smiled and said, "You should get closer." I backed away from the counter and Justin dropped his head in defeat. He continued, "Grace, what's it going to take for me to get you in my bed?"

I was surprised by his question and looked for any humor in his eyes...but he was being 100% serious. "...You'll have to find out on your own, and when you do, let me know."

I walked back towards Mr. Newman's office and, once again, his door was shut and locked. This was the fourth time this week! There was a rumor going around that he was having an affair...with Ms. Lawrence.

The thought made my stomach queasy, because I worked with these people on a daily basis. I softly knocked on the door and heard shuffling behind the door.

"Just a minute," Mr. Newman called out.

Ms. Lawrence came out the room a little flustered and her fixed-up bun was lopsided. "Good morning, Grace," She said casually.

I waved and stepped into the office. Mr. Newman looked completely normal...aside from his papers being all over the floor and mixed up.

"Do you want me to get those for you, sir?"I asked politely.

He shook his head and said, "I'll get Ms. Lawrence to get them in a minute...now what do you need, Grace?"

"Oh. Justin Morgans is out front, again. Ms. Martin sent him down for smoking in the classroom." I watched Mr. Newman's expression change from intent listening to anger.

He said, "He was smoking in a classroom!? Bring him in here!"

I nodded and walked back into the front office. "Justin, follow me."

He grinned and said, "With pleasure." As we were walking, I could feel his eyes watching my ass and finally turned around and caught him slowly peel them away.

"Go right through this door. Although, you should know how to get there, already." I pointed towards the office and Justin followed my finger.

He looked back at me and leaned in closer. "You know, I might not return. Could you give me a parting kiss?"

I rolled my eyes and said, "Nice try. See you around, Justin."

Walking away, I heard Justin chuckling in the background and then the door shutting behind him.

The rest of my classes passed by smoothly, and then came seventh. For some reason, I dreaded walking in with Roxy. I was expecting her to still have Lucifer the snake with her, but she was alone at my locker.

"Sup, G." She said while changing out her nose ring.

I watched, curiously, as she took out the black diamond and replaced it with a silver stud. "Less noticeable by the teachers," she explained. I pretended like I didn't hear her and asked, "Are you ready to head to class?"

"Yup," She simply said. We grabbed our books and started walking down the stairs to the lower level. This part of the school was underground and badly lit, but it had to be because this is where the photo club developed their photos.

Luckily, Photography class was the only room down there. Also, the hallway was the only place that had hardly any lights. The classroom was very bright.

We got in right as the tardy bell rang. Everyone was staring at me because I was with 'The snake girl' and it was not like me, obviously.

"Girls, take you seat," our teacher, Mr. Shepherd stated. He was one of the best-looking teachers at Bridge Academy. He was in his early thirties and had black hair and dark green eyes.

Every girl had a crush on him and always got upset because they couldn't have him as a teacher. To get the class, you have to audition by showing some samples of your photography. I always got in with my nature shots.

"Alright, class. I want you to meet someone! We have a student-teacher this year, meet Logan."

I turned and saw Logan-from the parking lot-standing in front of the class! No wonder I didn't recognize him...he wasn't even a student! He winked at me and said, "Hi guys! I know what you're thinking: I look too young to be your teacher. And your right...I'm only 20. Here's what happened: I was so smart, I got moved into high school at 13!"

Logan was only two years older than me, andof course,he was drop-dead beautiful. "Alright," he continued, "Today, I'm gonna teach you guys how to do snapshots."

"This should be fun," Roxy whispered to me.

And for once, I agreed with her.
