Boss's Love Battle

After they arrived at the hotel, everyone separated to go there own way. The girls decided to go to the bar inside the hotel. They still had a little bit more time before they call it a night. They quickly ditched the guys in the lobby before they can say otherwise. They were seating at the far corner in the bar/restaurant.

"I think he is very hot and sexy. I would love to jump in the sac with him. Lucas has the whole package." Dilly sighed, her face a little flushed.

She was short, pale white skin with long straight brunette hair and green eyes. Mindra was Stacey height, brown skin, wave black hair down her back. She from India. Kelly was blond, blue eyes, short hair, and tan skin.

"Well, I don't know about that. He is not cute like my Derek." Kelly said with a big grinned on her face. Derek is her fiancé. They all laughed.

‘So, I take it things are great with Derek?” Mindra asked.

“Yes. Everything is going sooth with no drama. You all are coming to my wedding, right?” Kelly asked them.

“What kind of question is that? You practically put us in the wedding remember. We’re your bridesmaids.” Dilly reminded her. Sometime they think Kelly don’t have it all up their in her head.

“Oh yeah. I completely forgot.” She said hitting her head. The waiter camp by with their drinks.

“What are we going to do with you Kel? Hey, guess what I heard?” Mindra said with a glare in her eyes.

“What?” they asked.

“Paterson is leaving. He is going to England. He is going to be the vice president of their company over there. He is looking for a new assistant. Ava I thought you was going to be his assistant. At first I thought they had fired you but then I saw all of you going up. I knew you were going to have a promotion because you all worked hard.” Mindra explained. “I wouldn’t mind trying to take your place. This would be a very good opportunity for me to move up the ladder. Don’t you think?”

“Well, it is a great opportunity but you’re not the only one who wants to move up in the business world. There are other people that want to go for the position too.” Dilly expressed.

“Well that is true. But I heard that Paterson is interested in someone.” Kelly noted. They all looked at her.

“Really like who?” Ava asked wanting to know when she already know the answer to that.

“I don’t know because he kind of walked away when he was talking on the phone. I don’t want him to think I was being nosy or something.” Kelly answered.

“Oh but I know.” Stacey said with a smile. Ava gave her a look.

“Oooo, tell us. I want to know.” Mindra said excitedly. The others move up closer to hear too. Ava was making all type of signal to stop her from saying anything but she didn’t pay her any mind.

"Well, I think Paterson have a thing for Ava over here." Stacey whispered to them. They turned their head and glance at Ava.

"No he does not-"

"Don't deny it. He already asked you out. I think you should go for it." Stacey said. They gasped. Mindra didn’t look to happy. Damn her. Now people at the office are going to find out that he asked her out. Great, that just wonderful.

"How are you going to go out with him if he going to be in England in a few weeks?" Mindra asked her voice a little flat.

"Well, I don’t want to start something up with him now. I don’t know how he thinks that it was going to work between us." Ava answered eyeing Mindra.

"Well, that good for you Ava. I think you should go for it. Maybe you can get a transfer and go back working for Paterson." Dilly said smiling brightly.

"Um, I don’t know about all that. Well, look at the time. I think I’m …. going to…. Retire…. ." Ava said getting up and notices Paterson looking around the bar for someone. Ava sat right back down.

“What wrong with you?” Stacey asked her. Ava slide down on her seat.

“Paterson is right there looking around.” She whispered.

"Oooo. What are you waiting for? Go get him girl." Dilly told. Paterson eyes landed on their table.

“Opus! He spotted us and heading this way. Ava groaned and sat back up. She stood up as Paterson approach their table.Ava gave him a smile.

“Ladies.” He said. They all smiled at him expect for Mindra. Then he turned to Ava. “Coliava may I have a word with you if you don’t mind. She looked at him for a minute before she answered. She sighed.

“Okay. I was leaving anyway. See you guys later.” Ava said to them. They waved bye and she left with Paterson trailing behind her. They went out the hotel to walk in the garden they have out back.

"Soooo..." Ava began. She stopped walking and he stop in front of her.

"So?" he asked looking down at her. Ava took a deep breath.

"Okay here the thing. We can try to see if this is going to work but if it doesn't are you going to treat me much worst then before?" Ava asked him.

"No, if it doesn't we just going to be friends." he said. They talked for awhile before Ava retired to her room. She learned something about Paterson. He can actually be sweet if he wants to. He hasn’t dated anyone in over four years but had friends on the side. He been watching her for some times and he wanted to take her out and see if anything can develop from it. Ava going to give it a try and see what up. Ava began to take her clothes off and putting them away when she heard a door open. She look to her right and notice a door there she wasn't awarded of. It open and Lucas walked in. Ava squeaked and threw herself inside the closet before he can have a glance at her. What the hell! They have connected room!

"Coliava? Where are you?" He asked. His voice sounded funny. She pokes her head out of the closet and stared at him.

"Um...can you come when I'm at least decent? I'm changing over here!" she told him a little angry. He began to smile at her. He looked like he was drunk.

"I don't care. Come out of the closet-" he demanded. His tone was dark.

"Have you been drinking?" Ava asked.

She closed the closet door. Lucky for her this is a walk-in closet. She had room to change. She quickly put on her shorts and t-shirt on. The closet door was yanked open. The bad think about the closet is that it doesn't have a lock on it. Ava step out and push him out her way. He almost felt on top of the small table next to the dresser. She grabbed him before he hit his head on the mirror. What the hell is wrong with him?

"Um... Lucas did you have anything to drink right now?" She asked him. She was trying to balance him because he was becoming heavy. She tried to drag him to her bed. It wasn't working. He was too heavy to carry. "Umm... Lucas, I need you to try to stand. I'm going to you help over to the bed. Okay?"

He nodded his head. Lucas didn’t know what came over him. He wasn't feeling good. He tries to stand with the help of Coliava. They walked slowly over to the bed and he plopped down on the bed. He lay on his back.

"Lucas what did you have?" Ava asked him again started to get a little worry.

"Someone bring me some champagne earlier. I don't kno-" Ava ran from her room through the bathroom they share. She looked for the glass he was drinking in. She spotted it sitting on the table to her right. She she took another clean glass and pours herself some of the champagne. She smells it and looked at the coloring. She notices after she poured the champagne, the color change quickly so no one can tell if someone put anything in their drink. It was a very light green substance that disappears once champagne is poured into a glass.

She read somewhere in her parents’ library about a type of planets that causes people to think that the person was drunk and but the poison was eating the person in the inside. Someone put Melonparasite in his drink. It’s a shape of a melon fruit with poison parasites inside the fruit. She ran back in her room and looks through her first aid kit and grabbed a bottle with herb medicine in it. She looks in the bathroom for something that looks like a bucket. There was a vase with flowers in them.

"That will do." Ava said. She yanks the flowers out throwing them behind her and threw the water away. She ran back in the room next to Lucas she sat on the bed and shook him hoping in didn't fall asleep or past out. Someone drug him and she doesn't know why.

"Lucas. Lucas! I need you to open you eyes. I need you to stay with me. Look at me now!" she demanded. He struggled to open his eyes. "I need you to drink this. It will help you." She gave him some of the medicine from the bottle. as soon as he swallows he leaned over her lap to throw up. She made sure the vase was near to catch him vomit. She pats his back until he back against the pillows. The medicine she gave him should clean out his system. An hour later he was out of danger. His breathing was normal. She called the manager and he had a doctor come up to the room. After the doctor left, Ava sat by him and grabbed the phone. She was ready to call Stacey but Lucas’ hand shot and grabbed her.

“Don’t call no one.” His voice sound awful. He tries to sit up but Ava pushed him back against the pillow.

“What do you think you’re doing? You can attempt to get out of this bed. I need to call your brother at least to tell him-” He yanked Ava close to him. For someone who supposes to be weak at this point he was kind of strong.

“I said don’t call no one!” he hissed through his teeth. He had grabbed a full length of her shirt in the front and pulls her closer to him. She was so close she can feel his breath against her skin. She realize she was nearly on top of him, one hand against his chest and her other hand were on his thigh. Ava could feel her body heating up. Didn’t she decide to try things out with Paterson? So why is she still on top of Lucas?

Lucas finally realizes how close she was to him. He wanted to know how she feels against his body. He wanted to know how soft she can get for him. He has been thinking about it ever since she bumps into him in the elevator. This is not how he expected things go but he make do with it. He doesn’t feel weak like he was earlier. He felt her tremble a little and then she tried to move away but he held tight on to her. He’s not letting her go nowhere.

“Luc….us….” she whispered his name and that was what he needed and he grabbed her head forward and kissed her. Ava was shocked but snapped out of it quickly and managed to pry herself away from him. In a matter of short seconds, he managed to put his hands under her shirt fondling her breasts. She moved far away from Lucas. They both were breathing hard. She can’t believe she let him kissed her. She should know better than that. What the hell wrong with her. There was a knock at her door. Ava jump a little and turn to go open it but Lucas called her.

“Don’t let them in the room. If they see me in here they will ask question.” Lucas said softly. Ava didn’t say nothing to him or even look at him. She walked out of the bedroom and went to the sitting room. She opened the door to see Paterson standing there.

“Hiiiii. How are you?” She said and smile. She stepped out into the hall but didn’t close the door all the way. He gave her a weird look.

“I’m great. Just came over here to check if you were okay. I try calling you but you didn’t answered your phone.” He asked in his deep voice. It made her feel warm all over. It was a nice feeling. She started to feel giggly. “May I come in for a few minutes? I won’t stay long.” Ava put her head to the side then nodded yes. Ava opens the door wider and let him in.

“I’ll be right back.” Ava said backing up to her room. She went inside closing the door behind her. She went over by the bed. Lucas had managed to sit up on the bed.

“Ummm… you just stay here or you can try to walk to your room but I highly doubted that you’re going to make it. I’ll check on you okay. Bye.” Ava whispered to him and slip back out of the room closing the light at the same time. She didn’t wait to here what Lucas got to say. She was not going to listen to his excuse. She wall back into the living room. Paterson was sitting on the cough waiting for her.

“Okay it is very late.”

“It’s only 12:30am. We still got time.” He smiled. He patted the empty spot next to him for her to seat there.
