I quickly began to contemplate my options. It was most likely they were soldiers, because of the time of night, and it should be easy to tell with the full moon.
"Hey, go check it out." When I heard the voices grow closer my eyes widened in horror. Soldiers? No, I was completely wrong? Men? Even worse. It was two girls, young girls, one probably around my age, yet the other sounded much smaller. "Do you see anything?" I slowly leaned over the limb my eyes scanning the ground under me until I saw them.
"No..." I whispered to myself as both of them proceeded out into the clearing. "No, I can't let this happen."
I was going to search for a way to get down from the tree but a voice stopped me dead. "You can't stop it. All you can do is help." My eyes widened as I turned to my right in the darkness. It was Scaris, and wow, I would have blushed if he wasn’t a cold hearted vampire, but I guess him being a vampire was what made him look so beautiful with the moon light.
"How did you?" He chuckled coldly.
"I will let you assume, but now, I would like you to show me to my next meal." I furrowed my eyebrows at his words.
"What?' He turned to me a with a dark smile, that was actually...playful? Oh no.
"Have a nice fall." I screamed when I felt something hit my back, and down I went. Down, down, down, until of course, the splitting pain. The splitting pain, then the darkness. What was he planning? Why didn’t he take them there? Did he plan on killing me by doing this? No, that couldn’t be it, he couldn’t expect a fall like that to kill me. Well...maybe but I don't think so. He said I was going to help him. How would that work now? They would just take me in, and he would loose me. Those girls would find me and take me to a hospital. From here i would be safe. I would be safe. I thought as my consciousness faded away. It was then that i felt a sharp fear. I would be safe of course, but that wasn’t the problem. This would only help him in one way....one cruel way.
