"Arian could you please pass me that board to me?" Claire asked, my legs scrambling to reach that plank of wood that lay in the center of the bedroom. Yes, my legs were scrambling, odd right? I had been paralyzed, yes, but now I was healed. Claire had forced Scaris into healing them, it was a strange process no fangs, nothing thank goodness. The feeling merely returned. That was of course, after I slept...in the same house as him. Ok, yes he's staying with us. Forced to stay to be correct. I am not sure what Claire has planned, and I had been planning to ask her about it, but not while he was resting in the bed that was actually inside the room that we were practically rebuilding. I also needed to take a few answers from her. She should be preparing to explain it too me, and seeing that we were almost done and the sun was once again setting outside after a hard days work that certain explanation should be coming soon thank goodness.
I winced as she hammered the last nail into the final board, and dropped the hammer lazily to the group over a small scatter of nails. "Arian, dear, I believe we're done." She smiled slightly to herself before making her way to the bed and pushing the unmoving figure's back that was facing her. A slight groan echoed form it, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for even HIM when she slammed him down on his back and got face to face with him, her nose barely an inch from his. "Good morning, the sun is going down." His eyes cracked open slightly, and I could see the pain, it was obviously because she was leaning on his broken arm deliberately...figures.
"You aren't going to stay in bed the entire night are you?" I saw him tighten his jaw as she clenched her hand around his arm. "What? Are you not going to answer me?" A smirk crossed her face as she eased back from the bed but her next moment forced a gasp. She slammed her fist down on both of his legs "Answer me Darkling!" She yelled as Scaris shot up muffling a yell of pain as he used his good arm to smack her hand away. I was surprised he could even move.
"Why would I answer to suchworthless two-faced, poor excuse for a vampire."He hissed coldly. Yet again she merely laughed back at him showing her fangs brightly under the light of the swinging lamp that loomed over her head.
"Insult me all you want Scaris...I won't kill you, you probably even know what is going to happen next don't you." I turned my attention from Claire to Scaris, merely to see his eyes waiting his own legs in a mixture ofphysical pain and mental strain."Come on Arian" She snarled, not even moving her sight to me, and I obeyed quicker than a pet would have done to it's master, I didn't want to be there, I didn’t want to be anywhere near there at the moment, but sadly, thefarthest escape I found was the kitchen table. It was even more intimidating when Claire followed me and removed a seat acrossfrom where iwas positioned. It would have reminded me of a horror film, log cabin in the woods, withthe little lamps, and the vampires, all we needed was a chainsaw...I guessfangs would suffice though.
"I need to talk to you." I nodded slightly.
"I know."
