Rough As The Sea

Novel By: lightthecandle
Romance

He held onto my wrist tightly, his blue eyes running over my body like a caress. "You're such a fucking hot mess, it's unbelievable. I just want to strip you bare and fuck you senseless."

"So why don't you?" I asked him, finally allowing myself to turn to face him completely.

"Because pirates are no good, love. I have no intentions of getting mixed up with one. You're all cold hearted and ruthless and the only care that you have is for yourself."

Yeah, I was a pirate. How many times was he going to point that out to me? Besides, he had pirate blood in him; I just had to awaken it and the best way to do that was to make him realize how much he loved a woman's touch. He may not be a virgin, but a woman like myself could show him all of the wonderful things about pirates and practically make him forget about the 'bad' aspects as he calls them.

I grabbed his shirt in my hand, pulling him against me. "Trust me, Cooper, I can prove to you just how bad pirates can be when given the opportunity if you allow me." View table of contents...

********************************

Elizabeth Lockwood is a pirate; she has been since the moment she was born. Her mother didn't want a pirate child and her father was more than eager to take her under his wing and raise her to be like him. Now, at nineteen years old, Elizabeth was just like any other man on the ship and she was treated as one.

During a raid on the coast of Somali, they came across Cooper Blackstone, the son of the captain of the Dark Night that had been sunk years ago, before Elizabeth was even born. After capturing him and bringing him on deck, they sail away with him.

Cooper hates pirates. He'd faced enough raids because of them; saved enough women from getting raped. He wanted nothing to do with the life of a pirate, nor did he want to become friends with any. However, Elizabeth has other things in mind once she lays her eyes on him and learns of his name.

However, no matter how much Cooper hates pirates, he struggles fighting his desire for Elizabeth. She sure as hell doesn't make it easy for him either. So what will become of the strong sexual attraction between them? Will they ever act on it?

Also, will Cooper ever accept his bloodline and do what was expected of him the moment he was born?
