                                      Chapter 7

Jadyn and Kayleigh calmly walked the halls of Crescent Mills Day school, catching eyes. Jadyn went to the location of her old locker and turned the combination. Everything was the way she left it. As if no one had touched it. The mirrors, the makeup pouch attatched to the door. It made her smile. "How's your first day going?" Chris asked. Jadyn jumped, clutching her her to her chest she breathed heavily.

"You scared me half to death." she playfully nudged him. When she put her books in her bag she gave Chris a hug and they walked down the hall to their homeroom; Ms.Finnigahn. As they walked in everyone looked at Jadyn, and she stared them down as she passed. Ms. Finnigahn smiled when she saw Jadyn.

"How was Europe Miss Snype?" she asked eyebrow raised.

"Hm? Oh Europe. It was nice. I guess."

Ms. Finnigahn frowned, she started class and Jadyn half-listened. The other half the time, she was picking at her nails, or writing her name over, and over again. But, in different fonts.

      "What do you think Jadyn?"

Jayn looked up, wide-eyed. She looked at the board to see what she wrote. "Um. I think it was a but off. But what can we do about it." it sounded more like a question. Ms.Finnigahn smiled.

"I feel the same way" Jadyn went back to writing her name until the bell rang. Study Hall. Jadny got her books and told Chris she'd see him at lunch. And off she went.
