Love: an intense feeling of tender affection and compassion; a word that spans all the nations and has survived the test of time. It hurts me that today such a word has been corrupted. Everyone wants it so badly but who’s brave enough to give it? More and more, relationships are based on appearances and sex instead of raw emotion. What’s worse is that these so called relationships are formed earlier and earlier. Kids are rushing to be “in love” without even knowing what the words truly mean. This story is about a different kind of love that’s so rare nowadays. (pic from google images)

"You want to write a book about us?" asked Cristy. I nodded eagerly. "What kind of book is it?" asked Cristy. "Romance," I said. Cristy blushed, "No way, that's so embarrassing!" she exclaimed. Kasey laughed lightly next to her. "Come on Cris, it'll be fun," he said. "I don't know, why us?" asked Cristy. "Because I decided that I want to write a different kind of love story," I said bluntly, "not one where the main characters are all over each other all the time or one of those love hate relationship ones but a new kind, about a pure kind of love." Now they were both blushing. "P-pure?" asked Cristy. "I don't know if I would say that," said Kasey. Cristy nodded. "Please Cristy? I'll owe you forever!" I begged. "What the hell," she said with a sigh, "what do you want to know?" Chapter One-How Kasey met Cristy A little girl with dark brown hair and blue eyes sat quietly in the snow when out of nowhere something hit the side of her head. She wiped the icy snow off her cheek and hugged her knees. The crunching of snow alerted her to an approaching person. "Are you okay?" asked a little boy with light brown hair and brown eyes, Cristy recognized him as one of her classmates. "Did I hit someone?" asked another little boy running up. "Yeah, you hit her," said the first little boy. "I'm sorry," said the second little boy. "It's okay," mumbled the little girl. "Okay! Come on! The others are waiting!" said the second little boy, running back in the direction he came. The first little boy didn't move. "Aren't you going?" asked the little girl. "No, I'm tired," he said, sitting down next to the girl. They sat in silence for a bit until the little boy spoke, "I'm Kasey." "I know," said the little girl, "I'm Cristy." "I know," replied Kasey.
