“Poison!” I yelled. “Talia is here!” Ivey came running out of my closet to see our other best friend walk through my bed room door. “Lia!” she screamed. We called Ivey poison because it goes with her name. Poison Ivey. Lia was just short for Talia.

An older man walked in behind Talia holding a large plastic bag. “Miss Talia. Where would you like me to put your dress?” he asked her. Just lay it on the bed please. Thank you nelson.” She told him.

He walked over to my bed and put the bag on my bed careful not to knock over my nail polish. After that he left. I jumped up from my bed and went over to hug Talia.

We hugged then her and poison went back into my closet. As soon as I sat back down on my bed there was a knocking at my door. I stood back up and walked over to my door. I opened it to see Andrew. My boyfriend.

“Hey sexy.” He said to me. His eyes trailed down to my chest. They paused for a moment then moved to my short shorts. He looked back up at me with a hungry look in his eyes. I looked over to my closet. The door was closed and my best friends were talking. I pulled Andrew over to my bed and we fell onto it. Him on top of me.

As soon as we hit the bed our lips met. His kisses were rough and demanding. His tongue traced my lips asking for entrance. I allowed him in.

After a couple minutes of that I felt his hands slowly going up my shirt. I didn’t mind. I was used to it. I knew that I would only have to wait a couple more seconds and my tank top would be on the floor.

I was right Andrew had managed to get my shirt off and threw it on the floor. In turn I took his shirt off. He rolled us over so I was straddling his waist. He unbuttoned my shorts. We rolled back over and we started kissing again.

Right when he was about to unbutton his pants I heard my door open.

“Oh, my god! Scarlet! Please put some clothes on.” Raven, my twin brother, yelled at me. He hated my boyfriends but Andrew was worse. Before me and Andrew got together Andrew and raven were best friends.

Ivey and Talia came rushing out of my closet. They just looked at raven like he was overreacting about me being half naked in bed with my boyfriend. Raven was glaring at Andrew as if he could kill him with his eyes.

“Andrew I think you should go. Ill see you at the dinner.” I jumped up from my bed and put my shirt back on. Andrew stood up and came over to me and kissed me. Then he nodded to raven and walked out.

“Ivey, Talia? Could you give scarlet and I a moment please?” he asked clenching his jaw. They hurried out of my room with scared expressions.

I closed the door behind them. I held one finger up to raven before he could start his lecture.

“Rave. I know what you are going to tell me. You are going to say that I shouldn’t be going so far with a boy. Especially with a boy like Andrew. That I am too young and that Andrew betrayed both you and our family. That he is only dating me because he wants to get information on us.” I took a deep breath so I could continue. Raven started talking before I could. “No. scar I was going to tell you that I know you hate when I am so damn protective but I do it because I love you. You know Andrew was my best friend. I know more about him then any one. He has done things that would make you cry for days. I don’t want you to get hurt. Just watch him ok? Protect your self best you can because I can only help so much.”

I felt like crying. Raven was always so protective of me. I went over to him and hugged him. He hugged me back.

“Thank you rave. I know it’s because you care about me.” I whispered to him.

We let go of each other and he left.

Ivey and Talia came back in and sat on my bed. I sat next to them.

“So how did it go?” Ivey asked.

“Not how I expected. Oh well though we still have to get ready. Talia who is your date?”

We got up and went to my closet. Talia carried her dress in as she answered me.

“I am going with Aven.” She got a slight blush when she said this.

Ivey had already brought her dress over so it was hanging in my closet.

I did Ivey’s hair in a crown of blonde curls on her head.

Talia did my hair. She did it in a wild mane of curly black hair.

Ivey and I had to do talia’s hair together. We braided parts of her hair and curled some of it. Then we weaved the braids into the curls and clipped the curls up on top her head.

It took about an hour to do each of our hair styles.

We each put a little bit of eye liner before we put our dresses on.

My dress was red. Two straps crossed on my back. It hugged my waist then it flowed to my feet. I didn’t like the restriction so I cut a slit to about mid hip. My shoes were black.

Ivey’s dress was purple with a black piece of silk crossing across her abdomen. It went to the bottom of her heels. Her shoes were the same color of her dress.

Talia’s dress was a light blue. The back fell to her waist and one strap went diagonally across her back. It was a little longer then her shoes. Her shoes were silver.
