We did nothing in math but talk. Wierd enough Alex wanted to know everything Cate and I like

"Music?"He ask.

"We both like latino music the most."I said."But we sometimes listen to Chris Brown, Beyonce, Bow wow, and some others singers."

"What attracts Cate the most to people?" He ask.

"What do you mean?"

"Um, how do I put this...."He thought for a momment."Let's say, someone's trying to get to her. What will they do to?"

"Like a guy who has a crush on her?" I ask, confuse.

"Yeah."

"Well, they have to be cute.Like some of the things she likes.And-"

"You don't get me."He interrupted."Whatcould get her to go with him?"

"Go with him?"I ask.

"Yeah."

I look at him with suspicious eyes."What? You like her?"

"No."He said."But... Just answer."

"Well, she did run away once."I said."She said that the guy said nice things to her, made her feel good about herself, and he was always giving her stuff."

"That got her to run away with him?"He ask.

"Yeah."

He nodded, his eyes going to the window, lost in thoughts.

He stopped asking questions after that, he seem lost in thoughts about something.I imagine Edward in the meadow, when he was explaining everything to Bella, how his eyes where loking over the trees, somewhere else, that's how he look, just like that.

The lunch bell rang and I stood up. Ready to leave by myself, but he was by my side before I could blink.

"Let's go."He said and we walk out of the classroom.

We made out way to the cafeteria or the Cafe. The Cafe has a normal lunch line, two snack machines, two drink machines, and a Starbucks machine which you have to use your student ID to get, just so each student use it once a day.

"I'll got get myself a snack, you want anything?"I ask him.

"Nah, my mom is a great cook, so I like her to make my lunch."He said, and I stare at him in shock.."I know is lame but-"

"No, its ok."I said.

"I'll accompany you, either way, and then we can find a table together."

"'K."

We walked over to the snack machine and waited in line.

"So, is this a mixed lunch?"Alex ask, while we waited.

"Nope, its just us Seniors." I said, smiling at him, he just nodded.

I bought a Pop Tart and got a cappuchino in the Starbucks machine.

"Let's go to that table over there."Alex suggested, pointing to the farthest table in the cafeteria.

I laugh.

"What?"

"That's the table I was gonna suggest."I told him, and walk towards my table.

"Really?"he ask, surprise."You sit by yourself at lunch?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"Haven't you been paying attention today?"I ask him with a sly smile."I'm a complete loser.Noone sits with a loser."

"Right."He said, and took a sit on the table.

You sat across from him, everybody in the cafeteria eyeing both of you, and whispering.

"Seriously, its like noone has anything to talk about."I said aloud.

"First day of school."Alex said."You're suppose to have no sense of style and no idea how to flirt.Then all of a sudden you arrive in a BMW M6, dressing like a super model, and have the new guy all over you. They sort of have a reason to talk about us."

"I know."I said.

"Hey, can we join you?" A girl's voice came from beside me.

I look to myrigh to see three girls, I recognize them at once as the three Johnson girls,they're all sisters, their father is a complete player and got three women pregnant at the same time. Jessica, Melanie, and Jasmine are unseparable and like everyone in this school, they think I'm a complete waste of time. The fact that they are asking permission to sit here only had one answer:Alex.

"Sorry, no."I said.

"Aw, don't be such a loser."Jessica said."Let us sit with you."

"Again, no."I said."Besides, why would you want to sit with a loser?"

"Simple,"Melanie said."You apparently have caught the attention of the new guy."

"So?"

"So, we want to know how he can possibly set his eyes on you."Jasmine said, in adisgust tone and was eyeing me with confuse eyes.

"Then ask him."I said and pointed towards Alex."You don't have to sit with us to find out."

"You aren't very bright are you?"Jessica ask."With boys, I mean."

"Why?"

"How do you expect us to just talk to him?"Melanie ask.

"Well, you are talking infront of him."I said.

"Is not the same."Jasmine said.

"Yes it is."Alex talk for the first time infront of them."I mean, I'm listening to everything your saying so its like you're talking to me. And to answer your question, Lola caught my attention because she doesn't pretend to be someone else like everyone here seems to."

The look on the sisters faces were priceless.

"Well, you've got your answer. Now bye, bye."I said.

"You're gonna have to let go of him at one point, so stop acting like his girlfriend."Jessica said and she and her sisters walk away.

I followed them with my eyes, and saw them sit with Liz and the others, I didn't mention that they too, were cheerleaders, did I? As I look around the cafeteria I saw everyone eyes on us.Translation: everyone heard our conversation.
