There was a soft knock on the door, not meant for me to hear, and I woke up.

"Who could possibly be here at this hour?"I heard my mom say, and I wonder the samething."Who is it?"

"Is Prince Alexander, from the Vampire Realm."A familiar voice resonded. Alex? He was the Prince Ms.Brown was talking about this morning, that's why he was so tense. But he's a Vampire, and Ms.Brown is just plain human.

I didn't know how I was hearing this, but I knew I had to find out why Alex was here.

I got off bed and open my bedroom door, just in time to hear my mom's voice.

"Come in, come in." She said.

I wen to the top of the stairs and started to walk down, quietly and slowly. When I got to the bottom of the stairs they were no where in sight, but I could hear voices coming from the Study so I headed towards it and listen by the door.

"First of all, how do you know that I'm the actual Prince and not an impostor?"I heard Alex too familiar voice ask.

"We know that noone can take the appearence of a Royal."I heard my mom explain."We also know when a creature that doesn't belong in this world arrives, after all, we are the Royals of this world.We also have other powers, but we won't go to details."

What? I thought. My parents are king and queen and have powers!'

"Oh, ok."Alex said."We're here because, you're daughters, well, more like Cate is in trouble."

"What do you mean?"My mom ask.

I was just shock, how did he know that?

"I have the ability to know someone's thoughts, while I was in science with Lola this morning, I felt the presence of a Vampire. The teacher, Ms.Brown is dead."He paused and my mind went back to this morning, so that's why he was tense, but how can Ms.Brown be dead, we saw her. I listen again, there had to be an explination."In her place is one of the rebels.He used to teach at our school, before he became a rebel and was fired.He can shape-shift, that's his power, he killed Ms.Brown a week ago and took her place. He is trying to find a way to get close to Cate, Cam and I will do our best to protect her, but we need your permission."

He's only here for Cate. I thought sadly.

"Ofcourse."I heard my dad said."But why is he after her? Lola is the legible Queen."

What?! Me, a Queen, he's joking!

"He's after her because of the reason that I'm in this realm." Alex said."I've been having dreams about Lola, in other words, she's my other half.That's why I'm here in the first place.Mr.John knows he'll never get to Lola, she's too smart to fall for any tricks he'll play, so he'll never get to her willingly, and since I'm here for her, he'll go after the second elligible Queen,-"

"Cate."My mom said.

He's here for me!He's been having the dreams as well, and he complimented me.I thought, excited.But wait, he can read minds!He should know that I'm here, shouldn't he?

"Yes."Alex said."He knows that if he gets Cate, Lola will go after him, and that's where he kills both of them.Without either one of them, Earth won't have a protector, which means the war will end and the rebels win, and there would be no human left here."

I shundder. A Vampire is out to kill Cate and me. This feels a bit like Twilight now I really understand Bella.

"But won't he try to go after you two?"My dad ask.

Please don't say don't worry about us, like Edward says. I pleaded in my mind.

"He wouldn't dare."Alex said."He might be older, but I'm stronger, I can kill him in a blink of an eye."

I shundder again as he said the word, kill.

I felt someone coming down the stairs, but I was sure they didn't feel anything because they kept talking, so I guess it was nothing.

"Don't worry about us."I heard a new voice,Cam?"We've got a WereWolve and a fairy in our side, and if it turns into a fight, we have every single mythical creature in our side, they can't win."

"Is you, Lola, and Cate that matters right now."Alex said.

I didn't have time to react, after he finish the sentence I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Lola, what are you doing?"Cate whisper in my ear.

I look at her and stood up, ready to make a run for it. I knew they heard her, because they stop talking, but before I could even touch her to run the study's door flung open to revail, my mom, dad, Alex, and Cam.

I blush, I didn't actually plan to have Alex see me in my PJ's, which are blue boxers and a white tank top.

"Correction."Cate said."What are you guys doing here?"

"Same goes for you two."Mom said."Why aren't you in bed?"

"I just got out of bed so don't look at me like that?"Cate said.

I decided to lie, "I just got here."

"Lola."My mom said.

"What?"I ask her, not bothering given her the innocent look because it always gives me away."Seriously, I only heard 'Don't worry about us. We've got a WereWolve and a Fairy in our side, and if it turns into a fight, we have every single mythical creatures in our side, they can't win.'Now care to explain?"

"Lola."My mom said again.

I roll my eyes,"Fine, I heard everything, Happy?"

"Delighted."She said.

"Ok, what are you guys talking about."Cate ask.

"Stuff."My mom said.

"Yeah, stuff don't usually include, aWereWolves, a Fairy and every other mythical creatures."Cate said, starting to get mad."Why don't you tell me."

"Stop whining."I said."There's nothing to tell, except that we're princess of our own planet, and noone ever told us!"

"We're what?!"Cate exclaim.

"Thanks Lola."Dad said.

"Any time dad."I said."Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to bed. Oh and do you mind keeping the volume down, that's what woke me up in the first place."

"What?"My dad ask."I think we were speaking low enough not to be heard."

"Trust me dad, it wasn't 'low enough'.I heard you as if I was standing right next to you." I said.

I saw shock cross through my parents face.

"What?"I ask them.

They both stare at each other as if speaking with their eyes, and my dad shook his head.

"What?"I ask again.

"Nothing."My mom said with a sigh.I hated when they lie to me. I knew they were afraid to admit something to themselves and I was going to find out what it was, and until then I was going to give them the silent treatment.

I turn on my heals, ready to leave but Cate caught my arm.

"Noone is leaving until I'm told what's going on."She said.

"Well, let's start with the fact that, well, we're Vampires."Cam said, and shock came to Cate's face, she look like she was gonna faint, and she did. I caught her and took her to the sofa inside the studio, and I was surprise that she was so light, I'm going to have to watch her eat.

"Let's wait until she decides to come around."My dad said."I'll take her to her room."

He went to pick her up.

"We have to cut out her food, she weight a lot."He said and left the room.

I look at where he gone, confuse. She didn't weight that much to me.

"Well, do you gentlemens want to wait until Cate comes around or-"My mom started but Alex interrupeted her.

"We'll wait."

"Okay,Let's go to the living room then."She said, as I look around.I've never been in the Study before, and I saw a lot of books about mythical creatures, some old and others look like they were just bought."Lola?"

"Umph?"

"Coming?"My mom ask, I nodded, I'll look at them another time.
