We walked to the living room and just sat there, waiting.

*Half and hour later*

"What happened?"Cate came in the living room asking.

"You fainted."My mom infromed her.

She look over at Cam adn Alex,"So is true?What you said?About being Vampires?"

They nodded, and she just took a deep breath before ccoming to sit next to me.

"So speak, what's going on?"She ask our parents.

"Well, to make this story short, we're King and Queen of Earth, but nobody knows, and you two are Princess."My mom said.

Cate nodded her head and said,"I still don't get it."

"Well, there's nothing to get."My dad said."My family has been King and Queen of Earth for who knows ho many milleniums."He said."Actually, that's why you don't have any aunt or uncle's from my side.If we go back in history, you'll see that my ancestors only gave birth to one child, either a male or female."

"That's why you didn't expect to have me?"She ask.

"Yes."My mom said."Ofcourse my side of the family is different, but the fact that I married your father bound me to only have one child."

"The King and Queen have powers no human thought possible.Lola has figure out the listening power, she can hear anthing no matter how far the person is speaking.She can also move around places without having people notice her, I don't mean having the person right infront of you and they don't notice, you're not invisible, but if they want to have a private conversation, you would be unnoticable."My dad explain."Other powers will come to you, those two powers that you've receive today, we no longer have."

I gave up on the silent treatment, I couldn't take it.

"What's that suppose to mean?"I ask them.

"It means, that as soon as you turn eighteen, you'll have all of our powers, and others."My dad said."We know for sure that noone would be able to touch you without your permission."

"We'll I get my powers too?"Cate ask.

"We don't know Cate."My mom said."Like we said, we weren't expecting you.We have no idea if you will have powers at all."

"Right now, your just the bait."Alex said.

"What?"Cate and I ask at the sametime.

"Lola, you were listening."Alex said to me and then turn his attention to Cate."There's a Vampire out to get you, Cate."

"Me?Why me?Lola's the one with the powers."Cate said, scare.

"This is my fault."Alex said."There's a war going on between Vampires. Some Vampires started to rebel against the throne thirteen years ago.Those Vampires, the rebels, want to be able to drink Human blood, because it makes us strong. We don't drink Human blood, we like animal blood better, we don't want to be assosiated with other realms for bad things, that way when we nee their help they can help us.Half of the Vampires are rebels, some kids drop out of school to become rebels."

"How is this your fault?"I ask him, confuse.

"You've been having strange dreams, where you just wander around streets, not knowing where you are."He said.

"How do you know?"I was shock. First I find out his a Vampire and know he knows what I dream!

"Cause I've been following you in all of those dreams."He reply."Or don't yo remember last night?"

My mind autimatically went to last night's dream, when I first saw Alex.I nodded but I was still confuse.what did that had to do with anything?

"Wait."I had just gotten a crazy idea."You said before, that you were here for me. Doesn't that explain why Cate was born?"

"What do you mean?"My mom ask.

"I don't know."I said."But isn't it strange that you both knew that you would only have one child then all of a sudden five years later you have another one, and then thirteen years later cmes a guy who wants to take the first born, the first eligible Queen with him to a different realm so she can rule with him?"

"Your saying that this was already plan by destiny?"My mom ask.

"I don't know."I said."I'm just saying what just came to my mind."

"Wait."Cate said and turn to Alex."When did this war start again?"

"Thirteen years ago, why?"He ask.

"I was born thirteen years ago."She said, looking at our parents."I think Lola is right.I was born because-"

"Mom and dad couldn't help but get busy."I said with a laugh.

"Lola!"My mom said."We have guest."

"It's okay, my parents were like that."Alex said, smiling.

"Were?"I ask curious.

Alex look down at the floor before speaking,"One of the rebels used to work at the castle, she was close friends with my mom. One night, when she found out that her husband was killed, she took her range on my mom and killed her.That was exactly thirteen years ago."

"Sorry."I said.

"It's okay."He said, then he look up and smile."Her name was Loida."

"Wow, freaky."Cate said."Lola's real name is Loida."

"I know."He said, and smile at me."She has my mother's name, and you have my mother's ways."

"What do you mean?"Cate ask.

"My dad told me that when they were in high school, my mother was a huge trouble maker, always wanted to have fun."He said."Had all the guys after her, but my dad was the one to catch her eyes.They were friends, then in their senior year, it turn into something more."

"That's nice."Cate said and I nodded.

"Yeah, but that still doesn't clear our situation."My mom said."What do we do?"

"Well, I think we should focuse on what's important first."Cam said."You two, need to protect yourselves.Alex is already in all of Lola's classes and I'm in all of Cate's, we can protect them while we're at school. Our suppose mom, can come and do a charm that will protect all of you from anybody who means harm."

"But those protective charms only work for those who are under the age of eighteen."Dad said.

"What does that mean?"Cate ask.

"It means it will only be on effect while you or Lola are inside."Cam answer.
