After Alex drove away I took Cate took Cate to class, she had a sign of worried in her face and I had to repeat 'don't worry, she'll be ok.' over and over again.

We're in seventh period now, nothing has happened and Cate can't hardly stay put in her chair as the last ten minutes of class comes by slowly. It was the second day of school so there was nothing to do.Lots of boys were glaring at me, Cate's the hottest Freshman here.And ofcourse is the second day of school and both Alex and Lola aren't here, and the people from the parking lot saw Alex drive away with Lola this morning so that started a big rumor, all that and it was only the second day.

The weirded thing has happened in this class though.Mr.Yazz, our math teacher acted all happy and talkative yesterday and today his all to himself and giving Cate a few stares now and then. When the bell rang he stood up and came to us.

"Cate,"he said, smiling."May I talk to you, alone please?"

"Ye-"

"No."I said."Sorry, but we must go, Cate sister isn't feeling well."

"Yeah."Cate said."Sorry teach, maybe another time."

We got out of the classroom and went to the parking lot.Once again everyone was starring at us.We went to the Porsche and I unlocked the doors.I got in the Driver's sit and she got on the passenger sit.I reeve the engine and backed out of the parking space before anybody else.As soon as I got out of school Cate turn towards me.

"Why the heck did you said no?!"

"Cate, why would he want to talk to you alone?"I ask her.

"I don't know, that's why I needed to stay."

"Cate."I said."A vampire is after you.Two Vampires are after you.Did you not here what Alex said this morning?"

"I don't really remember or heard, I was worried about my sister."She said.

"He told you to stay as close to me as you can."I said."You staying there would had been like giving them dessert before dinner."

"Them?It was Mr.Yazz."She said.

"Another thing Alex said this morning 'Cam be on your guard I think another rebel is here.'"I quoted."Mr.Yazz was pretty talkative yesterday and very friendly, and today he's all to himself and looking at you every now and then.Remember what happened to Ms.Brown?"

"You think-"

"Yeah."As we got closer to the house we saw police cars out in the streets.

"What's going on?"Cate ask."Police never come here, unless is something BIG."

"Cate, don't freak out but."I paused and looked at her.

"What?"

"They're park infront of your house."I finish and she looked ahead.

"Hurry up, get there!"

I drove a little faster, still not crossing the limit and park behind a Police car. We got out of the car and ran to the house.

"Sorry, but you can't enter."A police office told us before we could cross the yellow strings around the front of the house.

"Sorry, but I live here."Cate said.

"Prove?"

"LOLA!"

Lola came out of the house and look at Cate.

"Cate."She sigh."She's my sister."

"And the boy?"

"He's my brother."Alex came out saying.

"Okay."He step aside and we bent to cross the srting.

"Lola what happened?"Cate ask.

"Our parents were killed."She said, her voice sounded like she'd been crying.

"What?"Cate's eyes began to water."Your joking."

"Why would I joke about something like that?"

The tears began to come down her face one after the other and she rap her arms around Lola, who began crying too.

"Let's go inside."Alex suggested and we all went in.

We went to the living room where we saw Josey sitting down with another women.They look up when we came in and Josey stood up and came to hug Cate.

"Oh, sweetheart don't cry, everything will be okay."She said.

"How come you're alive?"Cate ask her."I thought you were with my parents this morning."

"I turn into a fairy when the door went down, and your parents told me to go and tell the King of Vampires what has happened."She said in a whisper."The entrence to the realm is more protected now.Your sister put a spell, so everyone could go in but noone can come out."

"You put a spell on?"Cate ask Lola."How?"

"Now that mom and dad are gone I'm the Queen, I have the powers, and I used the book."

"What book?"Cate ask.

"The book that mom and dad gave me for my thirteenth birthday."Lola said."The-"

"Mythical creature and spell book?Didn't they buy that at Target?"Cate ask.

"The one at Target is a fake, the one mom and dad gave me is the only real one, the spells are real."Lola said."You need to be careful Cate.Unless we figure out what's we're suppose to do to make you Queen wihout me having to die than you are the main target."
