I dress a little preppy and in black today, I had a feeling school was going to be hard today.I went down to the kitchen and saw everyone getting ready to leave.

"Seriously Lola, take less time in the shower."Cate told me.

"Let's go."Alex said giving me a soft kiss on the lips and a Pop Tart.

We got in our cars and drove to school.When we arrive there the parking lot was full except for the two parking space where Alex and I park yesterday.I laugh outloud at this and Cate look at me like I was crazy.

"Everyone thinks you and Alex hooked up yesterday, because neither of you were here yesterday."She said.

"Cate?"I said parking and looking at her."Since when do I care what people think about me?"

"Um...Since never."She said.

"So do you really think I would pay attention to what they say?"

"Nope."She said."That's what I like about you."

"Don't pay attention to what they say either, ok?"I said."I know you, don't do anything crazy, you know Cam would get in if you get into a fight."

"He would?"She ask confuse.

"Cate."I shook my head."And here I thought I was the bad one with boys."

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing.Forget it."I said and got out the car.

"Took you guys long enough."Cam said.

"Shut up, you're starting to sound like Cate."I said."let's go."

"And you're starting to sound like Alex."Cate said.

"Hey!"Alex exclaim and we all laugh.

We started walking towards the building with people starring at us.Once we got inside we walked Cate and Cam to their homeroom, then we went to ours and waited for the morning announcements.

"Good morning students, I hope you all had a great day yesterday."The principal's voice filled the room, making every single student be quiet."We have terribles news today, yesterday morning Mr. and Mrs. McCartney were murder." My eyes filled with tears and every eyes in the room turn to me."So those rumors going on that the oldest McCartney went to hook up with the New guy are false, he mainly went to take her bck home to deal with the police and things.Our greatest symphaties for you girls, specially for you Lola, having to take care of your family businesses."He said in a sad tone, I had forgotten about that, now I have to deal with my parents publishing companies, and libraries."In other news...."I muted the principals voice out of my head and thoguht about what I was going to do.

When the bell rang I still hadn't come up with anything.

"Did they say anything about science?"I ask Alex in a whisper.

"Yeah."He said."They said that Ms.Brown took a last minute vacation and that they haven't been able to get a hold on a sub, so we have a free period during that hour."

"Good, cause I need to think."I said.

"Don't blow up that mind of yours."He said, and look at me to see the tears mark in my face."The principal shouldn't had brought that up.Go in there and clean up."He pointed at the bathroom to our lef.

"Be right back."I said and went in.

"Oh, look who it is, the new orphan."Liz voice feel the bathroom when I walk in."How does it feel to have no parents?"

"I don't know.How does it feel to be a slut?"I ask her with a smile and went to wash my face.

"You think your so smart, don't you?"She said."Reality check, is more than obvious that Alex is only with you because your parents died, nothing else.He really doesn't care about you."

"FYI he cares for me more than you care for your new lipgloss."I said.

"Damn, that's a lot."Bella said.

"In your dreams."Liz said.

"Really, then why did he ask me to be his girlfriend?"I ask them, and smile at the priceless look on their faces."Yeah, later."

I walked out and met up with Alex.

"Is everything alright?"

"Yup."I said."Someone just made my day."I smile as Liz and squat came out of the restroom,I lean in and kiss Alex who obviously kiss me back.

"You know I wouldn't mind making out with you all day, but we have to get to class."He said,breaking the kiss.

"Let's go."And we walked down the hall, every student having a shock/surprise look on their face.
