ANGELA'S LYING ON HER BED LISTENING TO HIP HOP ON HER iPOD TOUCH.

knock, knock.

"Come in." She said.

"Sorry, Miss Angela, but there's a boy who wants to see you downstairs." Barbara, the house-keeper, said."His name's Carlos Ferreras."

Angela stood up in a flash, and went to the mirror. Checked for leftover in her tooth, clear. Put some cherry lipgloss, and got her hair a bit messy.

OMG!

"Tell him to come up here." She said to Barbara.

Barbara got out, leaving Angela rushing to her bed, and putting her headphones back on.

There was another soft knock on the door.

"Come in." Angela said.

"Hey." Carlos said, as he close the door behind him.

He has curly black hair and dark brown eyes, he's latino, from Dominican Republic.

"Hey." Angela got off bed and went to kiss her boyfriend.

"Nice tryout yesterday." He said.

"Thanks." She said. "Are you playing fot the West Land fall baseball?"

"Well, I'm trying out." He said."I'm playing if I make it."

"Ofcourse you will." She said, going to sit on her bed.

"I'm not so sure." H said, sitting down nest to her and wrapping his arms around her. "There are new boys this year, and they're good."

"But nawt as good as you." She said." You've been playing baseball for your entire life."

"True." He said.

"So, what brings you here." She asked him.

"What?! I can't come visit my girlfriend." He exclaim.

"Ofcourse you can." She said."But, I thought you were gonna talk about something else."

"Nah." He said. "Unless, you care to know that your friend Ashley has fond herself another admirer."

"Yeah," She said."Who?"

"Luis Arias." He said."He's a new student from Massachussetts, he's parents are from Puerto Rico, and he's a friend of mine."

"Is he this guy with cute eyes.?" Angela asked, even though she already knew who he was.

"I guess." He said. "But, I know that he didn't take his eyes off her for the entire tryouts."

"Really?"

"Really." He said."Why do you think he stood up for her both times his step brother insulted her?"

"Point." She said."So, he likes her?"

"Obvious."
